I dont know what has happened to this companys standards. They used to be my go to store for anything furniture/appliance related. No more.
Below is my original review. I was impressed with their request to review my issue. On August 14 I responded to them. Today, by email, the confirmation for tomorrows delivery was received. So, as nice as it was for them to offer any assistance, it has become apparent that its just lip service. DO NOT ACCEPT ANY SERVICES FROM DUFRESNE UNLESS IT IS CLEARLY WRITTEN ON YOUR INVOICE(S)!!
I am a longtime fan and customer of Dufresne. Until now. The sales person I was dealing with told me I could have my dishwasher delivered to the door and the old one taken away. When I got the call about the delivery of the dishwasher I confirmed that they were going to take the dishwasher away and they said no. I emailed my salesman and explained my confusion. One of the people at Dufresne, not my salesman, called to tell me that it would not be taken away even though I insisted I had been told delivery and pick up would be arranged. Customer service dictates an apology for any mixup and arrangements made to pick it up. Oh yes, it is possible. For an extra $115! Its funny how once the sale was made, my salesman became a non-existent person. When I explained my displeasure (VERY POLITELY), all she said was she was sorry but for an added fee (of course) they could pick up. I guess it boils down to the all mighty dollar not your customer.
