Terrible At Fixing Their Mistakes
My wife and I, a young couple, bought our first home in 2015. We decided to go with Sterling because we liked the floor plan. 2 years in and it has been the worst experience I could have imagined. Problem after problem with building quality but the worst part is, their warranty team is very rude, slow and unhelpful. Most recently, our roof leaked. They came up with "weatherstripping the attic hatch" as a solution and I knew that wasn't the problem so I hired a home inspector to give his advice. I forwarded his advice to them and I have been blatantly ignored for weeks. Now I have to waste my time and get New Home Warranty involved when all they have to do is fix their mistake. (Their mistake was the vapour barrier is installed incorrectly) DO NOT BUY A STERLING HOME, YOU WILL REGRET IT.
