Three Little Pigs Masonry

From the initial assessment through the estimate, revision, work and clean-up, every step was professional. Darren did a fine job explaining what was needed, but listened to my suggestions too. Rob made sure the brick work was done to our satisfaction. Even the clean-up was well done. The guys worked long hours in very hot weather. They certainly earned my respect! You might shop around a get a cheaper quote, but I don't think you'll find an outfit with better quality and customer service.

I had a problem with my walkway which was done less than 2 years ago. David at Three Little Pigs took measures to resolve the issues as quickly as possible. Good to know there is a company that would take care of any concerns one might have after a job is completed.

We needed damaged bricks replaced, our concrete sill at our entry door was cracked as well as our concrete entry landing needed grinding and parging. We also needed tuckpointing of our stone window sills. After considering 3 options we choose The Little Pigs Masonry, not the cheapest quote , but, we felt a comport level in their ability to do quality work as promised. They did not dissappoint ! From Darrin who quoted our job to Rob who managed it to Jessie and Joel who did the work, everything was top notch. Jessie even went above and beyond the call in removing some motor stains on bricks that weren't part of the job. It didn't take that long, but he could have sent me back to Rob to expand the scope of work. It is that kind of extra effort that I appreciate and why I would recommend this company to anyone needing masonry work done.

I got other estimates who were cheaper but none of those companies were providing me with any kind of a comfort level
- the Lil pigs have warranties that the others wouldn’t or couldn’t match
they did not ask for any money other then the deposits until we were 100% satisfied ... I really liked that part of the contract.
-They met our schedule ,were very professional. and being so courteous to all of the people that they encountered during the job , Which was not an easy task as we had a lot of special needs people in the area.
- biggest bonus was I was dealing with actual Masons right from the get go , “not” sales people !!

We hired TLP in 2016 to repair the top section of our chimney. We received quotes from several firms but chose TLP even though they were the highest price. Their warranty was what made the difference in our selection.
They completed the work on time and at the cost quoted. In the winter of 2016 (and again in the winter of 2017), we had a problem with the appearance of the chimney. We contacted TLP in Jan 2107 to report the concerns.
They replied to our concerns right away and we agreed to wait until spring to address the issue. In the spring of 2017 staff came to our home as agreed and acid washed the repair area. The issue appeared again shortly after the cleaning and once again we contacted TLP to report the condition. Once again they promptly replied to our concerns and once again sent staff to clean the area.
The chimney seemed fine until the early winter of 2017 when the issue reappeared. TLP tried one more cleaning but the problem reappeared. This spring (2018), they decided to redo the work they originally did (under warranty). For now everything appears satisfactory and we will see if any further issues appear when winter arrives.
Out experience in dealing with TLP has been outstanding. David and Barbara always return messages promptly. From the time we originally reported our concerns they have worked with us to resolve the issue. They provided meaningful responses and suggestions and took the time to carefully assess all the potential causes before attempting corrective action. The staff they sent to do follow up work were courteous and professional (similarly with the original and rebuild work).
When the initial attempts to correct the problem did not work as expected, they took ownership of the problem and as a last resort redid the original work.
It is a pleasure to see a company that stands behind its work. In addition they treat customers with respect and courtesy. There are too many situations where contractors abandon the customer as soon as the work is completed. That is not the case with TLP. They worked with us over the last two years to solve the problem.
10/10 to a company who earns it through their actions. We will use them again for any future work we have that falls within the scope of their services.

After being ripped off by a contractor in the past and now having a new project that requires a contractor again
we decided to do our due diligence and research as much as we could for our new prospective masonry contractor to
Restore or renovate the front of our house which had a lot of deteriorated bricks and mortar.

The Three little pigs were the first ones to provide us with a quote
We waited another 6 weeks to get another three quotes
None of these other three could tell me why the brick deteriorated in the first place which the little pigs explained to me was because of a lack of flashing and weeper vents , which allows the water to escape from the bricks that soak up the water. Which makes sense when you think about it
None of them could guarantee me that this problem will not happen again (with a 2 year warranty ) where as three little pigs warranties it for 20 years.
Two out of the three were sales people who work for a masonry company where their owners are not even a bricklayer or Mason. I found that odd.
the technical people I’ve dealt with at three Little pigs masonry are Masons including Dave ( the third little pig LOL ) who are not salespeople,and they know what they are talking about when it came to why or how it happened ?
And How to make sure it doesn’t happen again ?
I couldn’t get this from the salespeople
All they could tell me is they could fix it and make it look better.
And the pressure selling was something else.
After consulting with The little pigs
the best way and most financially feasible way we decided was to renovate completely instead of restoring it
which was less money then restoring it back to the same old same old. It was a no-brainer we renovated the inside , why not the outside ?
My brother realtor tells me my $50,000 exterior facelift investment just added well over $200,000 to the value of my property
As the inside of my house is already absolutely gorgeous
now my whole house is absolutely gorgeous.
Thanks to the three little pigs for everything and assuring me that it was so well-built that there is no way that the big bad Wolf can come and blow it down LOL LOL

We had cracked and damaged front stairs so decided they needed to be fixed or replaced.
After getting a number of quotes, we ended up choosing Three Little Pigs. They weren't the cheapest but seemed the most knowledgeable and skilled. We weren't disappointed with our choice. Darren, Dave and Rob were all great to deal with and answered all of our (many) questions along the way. The job was done relatively quickly. We also appreciated the easy and open lines of communication about timing and steps that were being taken in the project.
We are very pleased with the finished product and would happily use them again.

I had a leak in my cold room, by removing the flagstone and parging my stairs the problem was fixed, no more leak.
