I am disappointed if this company is still in business, or most likely they have reopened under another name and are still providing poor installation of windows.

I just had to replace ALL the windows they installed foe me 12 yrs ago. Within a short periof after the install I noticed issues with the windows. Major condensation on all the windows, yellowing of the corner caps and after a year or so brown liquid pooling and dripping on all the windows with black mould growing. Each time I would call Joseph I was not followed up on. These windows were complete crap, drafts could be felt and the slightest sound from outside echoed in the room as if the windows were open.

When we had Renova Windows (5 star to them) replace these windows 2 days ago they showed me the aluminum border used wrongly in the install of their windows, and they were rusted and pooled with water - all of them. The experts installers advised that they were Window City windows which are an ok quality window BUT that they could see alot of issues with the unprofessional install of the windows, caulking and sealing.

The workers who came to do the job did work quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately there were some problems.

The workers did not speak English, making it was difficult to communicate. The only Russian I know is "Hello" and "How are you?".

Cleanup wasn't the greatest. There were still bits of glass in our lawns and window wells after the workers left.

It was explicitly stated in our verbal agreement and on the contract that all of the windows were to be frosted. Only one windowset was frosted. Although they offered to come in at a later date to put in the frosted panes, they failed to explain how that would be done without release the supposed "argon gas" between the panes that apparently helps with insulation. We didn't want them back, so we declined.

They did reimburse the extra cost for the frosted glass but only after an unnecessary negotiation process over the phone. (They initially quoted $25 extra per window for frosting but when negotiating the partial refund they said it was $20 per window - um, excuse me?)

Sadly, I cannot recommend Mr. Windows & Doors. Too many unnecessary problems.
