Rowan and his team are professional, courteous, and does quality work. Rowan is responsive in his communication and always makes sure any problems are taken care of as he takes pride in his work and stands by what they deliver. There were some bumps along the way (as is the case with most reno/building work) but at the end of the day, Rowan took good care of us and delivered on all his promises. His team were always very considerate, worked hard, and were tidy on the job. I am very happy I finally can enjoy my backyard this summer. I hired Rowan and his team for my first bathroom renovation (the guest bathroom) and came back again to do my master bathroom. He's amazing to work with–listened to my concerns/wants and gave me exactly what I was looking for. He even suggested a special design for the drain that suited my tastes and I've received so many compliments about the bathroom when guests come over. His team also installed a beautiful reclaimed wood wall in my bedroom at my request in lightning speed.

P2 Contracting is an outstanding company. The project was completed in less time than anticipated, on budget, without any delays or problems whatsoever. The team is courteous, professional and accommodating. I have had several renovations on my home and this experience has, by far, been the best one yet. Rowan is very talented and meticulous about how he runs his business. He and his crew are competent, hardworking, flexible, responsive, courteous, efficient and organized. They did our back and sideyard landscaping which was challenging, particularly because of special drainage considerations. Everyone took it in stride and got the job done in only 10 working days! Rowan runs - by far - the best contracting company I've ever dealt with. He provided us with fantastic ideas for our backyard renovation and his passion for design is obvious. The project was completed ahead of schedule and on budget and we could not possibly be happier with the service we received or the finished product. Not only was the service fantastic before and during the project, but when we had some trouble with a couple of the trees that had been planted, Rowan even came back months later to make sure everything was taken care of.
Finding a contractor that acts with care and integrity is a rare thing, and it's what you get with P2 Contracting. As long as we live in the GTA, we won't use a different company.

Our initial consultation with Rowan was great. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy at all. We had a good idea what we wanted to accomplish with the renovation but it ended up being vastly different from our finished project and we could not be happier. At first we wanted to open up the main floor of the house to make allowances for more light in and update the look. Rowan brought his engineer in to do drawings so we knew the scope of work involved. This turned out to be more than we were prepared to take on at this time. Rowan had some good ideas and suggested we take some time to think about the work we really wanted to, and could afford to, have completed at the time.
With Rowan’s help, and working with the existing floor plan, we decided to proceed with replacing all the hardwood on the main floor including the stairs, replacing the external walls with and adding spray foam insulation. We also put spay foam insulation in the floors in 2 of the bedrooms over the garage and the external wall in the master bedroom. Pot lights, trim and paint completed the to-do list.
As with any renovation there were some hiccups. The dining room light was installed in the wrong place, the flooring by the front door had to be changed and the transition into the kitchen and bathrooms needed adjustment. In all of these instances Rowan was able to listen to our concerns and we were able to come up with a satisfactory solution.
I had chosen new lighting for the dining room and front hall, Rowan was able to source these for me and saved us a bit of money. He also helped us choose the wood for the floors and while we did not originally want oak, the 3inch oak plank is beautiful and was the right choice. He suggested a paint color for the halls and while I was dead set against it, I trusted him and it looks great.
The crew working on our house were very professional. I work close by so I was able to stop in on my lunch to see the progress. The guys didn’t seem to mind the interruption, in fact they would take a few minutes to explain what they were working on and what was next on the list to do. The work site was cleaned each night and their tools were contained to one room. They were very respectful of our house and our belongings. Non-work areas were draped off to minimize the dust, and a cleaning crew came in to dust and vacuum the work area before we moved back in.
We would highly recommend Rowan and his team from P2 Contracting and we will use them again.
