Sam The Handyman

Having contacted upwards of 10 roofers, 2 responded. The first quote was on the high side. The second quote, from Sam the Handyman, was much more in line with our budget. What impressed us about Sam, from the beginning, was his knowledge and honesty. He walked us through every step of the procedure complete with before and after photos as well as providing a number of roofing options at various price points. Sam scheduled an initial meeting at 10am and showed up at 9am. Scheduled to start the work at 9am, he and his crew showed up at 8am. I like that approach. The job was done on the day mentioned, in the amount of time indicated and of course for exactly the original quote. A job well done. We highly recommend Sam the Handyman.

I had a structural engineer assess my roof support after I experienced cracks in my walls and ceilings. I contacted Sam and his crew to assess and fix. Very prompt return call and they arrived within days to fix. Knowledgeable, reviewed work to be done and provided great service. Thanks, Sam and crew!

Sam is really an expect handy man. He is polite. He always on time and if the weather was not agreeable, he will e-mail me and reschedule for our appointment. When he found something wrong, he let me know right away and gave me good advice. Thank you so much, Sam.

I recently located Sam on Homestars and am happy to report that all of the great things said about him - are true! We had a lot of exterior work that needed to be done to include water sealing, flashing and extensive concrete and masonry work. He also put a new flat roof on our garage. Sam is very nice to deal with and he explains everything. After our first meeting he followed up right away with a detailed quote. Sam repaired my crumbling cement front steps and the walkway leading to them. At no extra charge he created a slope to ensure the walkway was safe. Sam also offered wise advice as to other areas of my walkway that I was concerned about. He was quick to respond to my request for a quote and professional in terms of completing the job on time, invoicing and payment. I would not hesitate to recommend his services for exterior repairs.

I felt ok after Sam did some repair work on my double brick house. I trusted him to remove and redo our 4 layers (including the original layer) roof too. All jobs were well done. Sam is the Handyman to trust!

Sam is "breath of fresh air"! A contractor who returns calls, shows up on time as arranged, and willingly takes care of a job which is not a large billing project. Extremely pleased, definitely recommend Sam and crew. And to top it all off - he came in at less than quoted price!!
