I’d been having water hammering noises for a long time and didn’t know what to do as I was told that there’s nothing that could be done. However I checked on line and found that there’s a good chance that a pressure reducing valve could help. I searched on home stars and found Strong Plumbing Inc who had very good reviews by past clients. I decided to get in touch with them and sent a message. Valentin responded shortly after and asked for details of the problem and to send him some pictures. The problem was loud noises coming out of my plumbing lines when I ran the washing machine, the showers and recently when I flushed the toilets. He looked at the photos and explained that he could install water hammer arrestors for the two lines to the washing machine and a pressure reducing valve for the main water line. The problem could be that the water pressure coming into the house is too high. He gave me the price and time estimate. He was on time and finished job in the 3 hours he estimated, not forgetting to wear his mask and gloves as well as booties for his shoes . He explained what he was doing and made sure everything was working well before he left. I couldn’t thank him enough when we didn’t hear any noises when we check the water lines after he was finished. I would definitely call him in the future for any plumbing problems I may have.
