I noticed a hairline crack on my kitchen counter top running from the base of the faucet, which was very old. I looked underneath and found that over the years, very small water leakage had begun to erode the particle board under the counter top. I texted Valentine on Friday; he responded within a few minutes; asked me to send him photos of the faucet and countertop; suggested a Moen faucet on sale at Home Depot; and quoted an all-in price. I agreed; he immediately ordered the faucet; texted he would come Monday morning at 8:00. He came, shut off the main water, removed the old faucet, and installed the gorgeous new one, with a metal plate underneath for support. I had also asked him to check my bathroom sink, as the drain had been very slow for several years. He should me how to solve the problem with a kind of gentle hand plunging (a regular plunger would create too much pressure, causing leaks). And, like magic, the drainage issue was instantly resolved. All told, Valentine was here less than an hour.
