La Vie Furniture

We live in Calgary and found it next to impossible to find nice modern looking furniture. We came across this store on-line and dealt with Jack Peng the entire time. He was extremely helpful and quick in providing information, prices and suggestions.
We were originally concerned about ordering so much on-line as we didn't know the company or how the furniture would show up and in what condition.
Everything went 100% smooth and Jack kept in constant communication. They also had everything shipped to their store first to ensure nothing was damaged and then repacked it to ship to Calgary.
With spring coming we are now talking to Jack for patio furniture.

I bought a leather sofa and recliner. The first recliner was broken when we got it home and unpacked it. We had to return it and they gave us a new one. Within a few months (4) that was broken (cannot use the side handle to close or open it. The plastic protective cover was sewed into the leather making it impossible to take off (believe me we tried!). The sofa has warn rips at the top (how we got it) but didn't notice it til a week later and they will not fix it. After using the sofa for 6 months the seat cushion is completely flat and cannot be re-stuffed cause it's doesn't come off.

We also bought a glass coffee table from them but it has issues and after waiting for 4 weeks for someone to come look at it, they saw that we were right and it was impossible to assemble. They took it back and gave us a new one but that one had scratch marks all over it so we did not take it from the warehouse.

I would not recommend buying ANYTHING from them. Everything we have from them now is junk and we only had them for 6 months. I should add that we only use the furniture 3-4 times a week and do not have children or pets to add to the wear on the furniture.

Never again will I buy from them!

Ordered a LEATHER sofa, product was received with only 30% leather. Ask the sales man. He said he did explained the product won't be fully leather. This was not true. He never did. In addition, no mention in the contract. refuse to do anything. Customer be aware.

I was referred by my colleague at our clinic and I am glad that she mentioned la vie furniture to me. After days shopping around, I bought a platform bedroom set from la vie furniture few days ago. Everything are very good. delivery is on time, set up staff are friendly and professional. it took them a while to finish set up and I am very happy for the overall buying experience. I would like to thank Collen who is the delivery guy. It is very nice of him to help move my mom into the car. ( she on wheelchair. )

My name is Vicent, finally i have a chance to write a review to thanks La Vie Furniture gave me such a good shopping experience.
I saw La Vie's ads on Kijiji and i found a nice sectional sofa that i really like a lot. So, i went to their store, i talked to a very nice sales person, after i gave them my room dimension, they decided to custom make the sofa which i like according to my room size. And i can choose the colour that i like.
After around two monthes waiting, their delivery team delivered my beautiful sectional sofa to my living room and open package and set up everything for me.
Also, they told how to maintain a real leather sofa, my whole love this sofa a lot and i will refer all my friends go to this furniture store.

I made a sofa purchase from there, sectional black leather, and dinning room set with 6 chairs, bedroom for me and guest room.

I spent more than $6000, when I saw these feedbacks; I personally think it is unfair to such a good company. Here is store I experienced.

My sofa needs change color, as sale told us it will take around 6-8 weeks, I understand it, and not rush anyway, because I need time to clean and renovate new home. I would like to say I had a lot help from these sale people, they are very friendly, they are not like Bricks or Lions furniture company, they treat me as a real customer, gave me a lot helps, and explain to me how to buy a good quality sofa, I never heard these from other company, Bricks sale only tell me this is new design, good leather, balalalala…even I do not know what kind of leather I purchased, but I learned boned leather, full grade leather, etc from these sale people. I like their sales service.

When I get my dinning set, after installate whole set, I found there is a very tiny scratch on side of frame, be honestly, I am a person looking for prefect, you can call me a picky person, and think about I spent a lot money in this company, I ask them exchange for me, be honestly, I just try, I do not have big hope they can change for me, even my boyfriend laugh at me after, because he think it is impossible to change because this tiny scratch as nail mark, but after delivery guys called their head office to report what I concern, la vie just says will exchange for me right away without any doubt, and driver explain to me to use this for now, and they will change for me later but with new schedule. I purchased furniture before, this is not my first time to shopping furniture, I know normally will take long time after they say like this, but la vie just made exchange schedule with me after 2 hours, their floor sales just called me, this is very fast, I can not believe this, I know this industry very well, because I always take look feedback first, as people buy things from Ebay, and my friend bought furniture from other company, always tell me how bad service other company offer, it is really surprise me. After 2 days, exactly only 1 half days, they exchanged a new one, I am happy with it. Really, and I am also satisfy with my sofa, these are exactly what I expected, even looks like I buy from high-end store, because my friend think I spent a lot money for the sofa, hahaha..

Anyway, I would like this is one of good companies I ever experience, I highly recommend them, responsibility and best customer service will bring customer, exactly as they promise from website. Hope you enjoy your shopping.
