Bought a new modern bedframe from this company a couple weeks ago. I was dealing with one of the sales reps, Jack, who was helpful with everything up until the sale has been finalized and was never heard from again. I spent over $2200 for what I believe should be a perfect piece of furniture for my home. The delivery period was amazing since I got it in the same week that I purchased online and I picked it up myself so there is minimal shipping damages.

Upon bringing it home and unwrapping everything - the assembly was quite a blur. The instruction manual that came with the bedframe was next to impossible to understand, even with 3 other friends looking at it. The screw holes didn't even line up properly so I had to make new holes so that I can attach certain pieces together. There is a light housing above the left nightstand that didn't even have the plug "ending" that plugs into the wall so I had to take that to an electrician so that he could put an end on it for it to function.

When I was interested in buying the furniture, the reply back to my emails were about 6 hours delay from when first sent. I have sent my last email a week ago inquiring about the lack of workmanship on this bedframe and I have not gotten a response back yet... and I don't think I ever will.

Overall, JUST satisfactory 5/10 for such an expensive bedframe. It does look amazing though when everything is finally put together. But buyer beware. These guys will seem incredibly helpful up until the sale is closed and then they will disappear from your life and you are on your own.

I'm just glad I didn't buy one of their modern sofas at the same time, who knows what could have gone wrong there...

I just got a new condo towards the end of last year and i have been shopping around for a while before i finally came across Lavie furniture's website. I saw some beautifui listing on thier website site for reasonable prices far above what i have been seeing around other furniture store in downtown area.(almost double lavie's prices) i decided to go in to one of thier store and i saw same stuffs displayed in thier show room..i got a sofa, bedroom and kitchen table that same day because the sales dude was so helpful and gave me a package deal that i couldnt resist, as i would be saving almost $4000 from what i have seen in other stores. Their furniture is so modern and beautiful. i got my delivery sometime end of January and im loving every single item i bought from them...i would say i had an excellent experience shopping with Lavie...and its highly recommended if you are looking for touch of style and good pricing....,

My husband and I purchased a new house in September, 2011 and bought all of our furniture from La Vie. Several of the items we got we're floor models and we received a great discounted package deal because we purchased so many items. Not only did the salesman give us a great deal, but he also assured us that all of the floor model items would be cleaned and touched up as needed to look as new as possible. This was something we weren't expecting and really appreciated. What also impressed us was the fact we were able to custom make a sofa so it would fit nicely into our living room in between to oddly placed air vents. I've read a couple of the previous reviews, and in regards the their product quality, we've had our furniture for more than half a year now and are completely happy with the quality and have had zero issues with any of the items. As soon as we have the budget to furnish our basement and guest room, we will be going back to La Vie without a doubt.
