We had some ice damming a couple years ago -- had the roof checked out by another company, which did some caulking, said it was probably a one-time event, took our money, and left. Well, during one of the heavy rainstorms this summer, we found more water dripping through the ceiling. This time I called Mr. Roof Repair -- I decided the $399 base cost was worth it to have a full assessment. They found that the gasket around our skylights had been installed improperly (which the earlier repairperson, in spite of having charged us much more $, failed to notice) -- fixed that, and also repaired some shingles. They were extremely professional, efficient, and patient in explaining what they'd found and how they planned to proceed. Of course we'll see what winter brings, but I can say that the service they provided gave me a lot of confidence in them, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for a repair.

We noticed a leak in June 2015, and so I called around to literally a dozen roofing companies that service Richmond Hill (all found here on HomeStar). Only 3-4 of the dozen companies I called got back to me. It took Mr. Roof Repair a few days to get back to me after I left a message (the longest of the ones who did return my call). Nonetheless, the service from that point on was great. The explanation I received from Kathleen of what will be done and why it would be done was helpful and not pushy, like the other companies I spoke to.

The package I chose included an attic inspection and then the roof repaired, with a full report given to me. I asked if any repairs would be done in the attic, and I was told that repairs would be done if necessary. The roof definitely needed repair (because of the leak).

The inspectors arrived on time and were very friendly. They worked very quickly, but I feel the inspection of the attic was medicore. They were up there for no more than 5 minutes (although it was very hot), and I was told everything was fine. I asked about the mold but he said there was none, or very little. I showed him pictures that my husband took in the attic, and then he points to the picture and says, oh yes, there's some mold here, but it's minimal so you can leave it as is. Hence, I feel the attic inspection was not 100%, but I can't compare it to the work of any other companies, as I've never had an attic inspection done before. Nonetheless, I'm hoping he's right, as the mold is still in my attic.

As for our leak, it seems to be fixed now. We haven't had another huge storm in a while, but we haven't seen any additional water stains, so I'm hoping that it is.

They also gave us a quote to replace the whole roof, which needs to be done by next year. Our quote was $13k, which is a little more than I expected. I will be shopping around for prices, but I feel confident about the work Mr. Roof Repair would do on our house. The price is just over our budget right now, so I'm hesitant to go ahead at this point.

In addition, my credit card had fraudulent charges on it, so it was cancelled. Mr. Roof Repair was very understanding and delayed my payment until my new card arrived.

Called Mr. roof repair to come look at a leak they were prompt and knowledgeable on the subject they were able to do a temporary fix and provide a recommendation for a permanent fix couldn't of asked for more

I quickly called Mr Roof Repair after spending about an hour looking for reputable businesses on homestars and after reading all the positive reviews I called Mr Roof Repair. Kathleen answered my call and she was a complete pleasure to deal with. She started off by explaining the type of services that Mr Roof Repair offers and assured me that if a big repair ($$$$$$$) was necessary they would first put in a temporary fix and then give me time to think about how I wanted to approach a large repair. Not being a roofing expert I appreciated that they did not pressure me into buying some lavish roof replacement package especially if it was a small leak. I have hired businesses before to come fix various issues at my house which always resulted in high pressure sales and I often felt like I paid for something I didn't need due to scare tactics. Mr Roof Repair didnt have any of those. Kathleen then went ahead and looked up my postal code and then scheduled a repair for a few days later and that was that. The entire call was maybe 10-15 mins. The day of the repair went very smoothly. Mr Roof Repair came within the time block that they said they would, spent about 30 mins up on my roof assessing and then fixing the damage and then when they were done they showed me pictures and explained what work that they did to fix my leak. I was quite pleased that there was no additional cost and my mind was put at ease once they finished and assured me that the problem had been taken care of. Best of all, a week later Kathleen emailed me a very thorough and detailed report complete with pictures on what the original issue was and how they fixed it. All in all, if I ever have any roofing issues in the future I would not hesitate to call Mr Roof Repair again. They were absolutely a pleasure to deal with and made an otherwise stressful time very relaxing knowing that my roof was in good hands. Oh and 1 month later I have had no leaks!!!

I recently had to call MrRoofRepair to fix a leaking roof. It looked like it might be time for a new roof. From setting up the repair to the eventual full roof work, this company is run in a very organized and efficient manner.
My initial call was handled by David who competently explained the repair process to me and sent out a crew ASAP. Adam and his crew temporarily repaired the area of the roof that was leaking and documented with pictures all areas of the roof that needed attention. We discussed in detail what was needed to be done and he was very patient answering all of my questions at the time. Within a few days I received a detailed evaluation and quote via email for the full repair, complete with pictures and even a rating system explaining the areas that were in good shape or definitely needed attention. This included all aspects of the roof including the ventilation, chimney and flashing, and the soffit, fascia and eaves troughs.
Two levels of quotes were provided as per my request.
The work coordinator Kim was always available to answer my questions over the phone in a very courteous and timely manner. As this was my first time dealing with this type of repair, she had to deal with a lot of calls and questions from me but she always came through. Any phone messages were returned promptly, once by one of the owners Joe himself.
A pre-repair inspection was done which included selecting shingle colours. This was done by Nick, again another courteous and patient person who allowed me to ask many questions and was very knowledgeable in answering everything.
Every attempt was made to accommodate getting the work done in a timely manner that worked with my own schedule, considering this is a very busy time of the year for roof companies.
The work proceeded smoothly and with the clean-up, you would never know they were there except now I have a beautiful new roof. Thanks to Shane and his crew.
The work was followed with a post-repair inspection visit, making sure that everything was done as expected and that I am satisfied with the work.
This is not an inexpensive roof repair company, but they deal with the latest in technology and I am impressed with how this company is run. I usually try to get a couple of opinions before hiring people to do a job, but I was comfortable right from the start and didn’t see any reason to not continue with MrRoofRepair all the way to the end.
If you are looking for a roof company that really knows what it is doing, does it with competent, experienced and accredited employees, this is an excellent choice.

My experience with this company was first class from the time I placed the call until the work was completed. Adam and Terry were prompt, polite and experienced. They replaced roof shingles and inspected the roof and gave me a detailed account of the condition of the roof. I would not hesitate to use them again.

We recently had our inspection from Mr Roof Repair completed. The 2 workers who attended our house were very nice and appeared to be knowledgeable on the problem and ready to provide a solution. we received our quote for the repair a few days ago and are waiting for a date to be scheduled. Will review again after the work is completed.

Hired these guys for a leak in the roof that was causing damage inside the house. I called other contractors and never got a response but Mr. Roof Repair called back promptly and came when they said they would. Nice people and good service. I have hired them to do the roof on the garage. Would recommend.

Had a leak coming in above my front door which lead out to a covered porch. In certain rain storms the leak would occur. Mr Roof Repair came out and quickly found the problem and fixed it. Very satisfied with the results.
