After suffering through hot summers the last few years, we decided to have ductless air conditioning units installed in the bedrooms on the second and third floors of our 100+ year old house. Paul and his crew arrived at 10 am and were done by 5 pm. They left our house exactly as they found it, even vacuuming up before leaving. I'm actually looking forward to the summer now. I had MICA Energy Solutions come to my house and repair my furnace. After looking over the furnace which is several years old, Paul, recommended that the pilot assembly and ventor motor needed to be replaced. I was happy to hear he wasn’t going to try and sell me a new furnace. He got my furnace up and running after these repairs and it has never worked this good in a long time. He was professional in his work and completed the job in a couple of hours. He also gave me great advice as to how I can maintain my furnace to last a long time. I would definitely recommend MICA to anyone with furnace breakdowns and I wouldn’t hesitate to call on him again. Thanks again for the great service.

We have radiant flooring in our kitchen and the pump needed replacement. I contacted Mica, based on the reviews in Homestars, and I am so glad I did. Mica's owner, Paul, provided excellent customer care, even before the installers showed up to replace the pump. Mica was able to fit my job into their schedule, and my kitchen floor is now nice and warm. Before leaving, the installers gave me great advice about changes I could do myself to improve the efficiency of my entire boiler and radiator system. I highly recommend Mica and will definitely call on them in future.

At the outset of the project, we were stuck on pursuing one avenue. The guys from MICA came in, reviewed the project, and offered additional viable options we had never thought of. This actually saved us time and money, the latter we will speak to further on in this review.

They were professional, prompt, gentlemen of their word, showing up when they said they would (never left us hanging) and ensured we and our General Contractor were well informed of where their portion of the project was. They even responded to a panic call on one aspect that really wasn't their responsibility, nevertheless they fit us in and made it right to help push the project forward.

MICA provides detailed invoices, laying out the work as discussed and related costs. No guess work here. If things change they make certain they discuss in advance so you know whats being done and the costs associated. In that light I have to speak to their honesty. Work that had been discussed and costed at the outset, was not completed at our request, we were so far into this thing I had forgotten all about it. As a matter of course they reminded us 'NO we didn't do that, so you don't pay for it.' Thats honesty, thats integrity, thats the guys from MICA.

I could go on, but suffice to say, We have no hestiation in recommending MICA Energy Solutions for your 'never ending reno project'.

I hired Mica Energy Solutions to take out my out dated radiant boiler system (from the 40's) and replace it with a high efficiency NTI system with hot water tank. These guy's are true professionals in every sense of the word. They are extremely customer focused and courteous and did a labour intensive job quickly and efficiently. The job was a huge undertaking and these guy's went above and beyond to deliver a cost effective approach to a top of the line system that I am very happy with. I would highly reccomend Mica Energy Solutions to anyone wanting great quality work from real professionals.
