Royal York Roofing did a great job start to finish on a tough job: 45 degree angles, multiple peaks, flat section and very poor condition shingles. Vitaliy came on site to provide the quote (other roofing companies only used satellite images to estimate) and took the time to answer all my questions without pressuring. Royal York is one of the few residential roofers who also are very comfortable with flat roofs. Despite terrible weather this fall, the team tried their best to use any good weather to make progress. Seanesta in the office made it easy for me and communicated frequently to ensure I knew their plans. The entire job took five days and the roofers were totally professional. They were on site before the sun came up, worked til the sun went down and left no mess behind. The final bill came in almost exactly on estimate. We're completely happy with the result and I would recommend Royal York without hesitation.

Loved working with Royal York! It took a while to get the job done but that is to be expected since it was rainy this summer which caused a lot of delays and they've been busy since the windstorm.

Instead of taking the 3 days they initially said it would take, they showed up with a massive crew and got it all done in a day (with just a few touches added the next day). That was a real boon for us given that we have 2 small kids who nap during the day and meant fewer disruptions for the neighbours.

The roof looks amazing! We've been through a few rains since it was re-done and so far, no more leaks!

Only small complaints are that they almost forget to put the ice shield on our front porch (only sheer luck that I looked out our bedroom window while that work was being done) and they left our back deck messy with asphalt and nails. Otherwise our property was spotless and I was really impressed with the attention they took to make sure our neighbour's driveway was kept as clear as possible during the work and cleaned up as soon as the roof was done on that side.

Anton was a real pleasure to deal with and attended to every concern immediately. When we discovered the ice shield hadn't been put up yet he right away got the workers to remove the shingles they'd placed and attended to the problem.

Superb experience - I definitely recommend them. In terms of cost, they were middle of the pack of the 5 quotes we received. I liked that they warranty the work for 10 years (not the purchaser of the work). Gave me a lot of confidence in them.

From the office staff, sales rep, to the workman on the roof, RYR delivered excellent service. They were honest, prompt, efficient, clear about what to expect and delivered against their commitment.

The cost was comparably price and includes a transferable warranty; meaning the warranty is on the roof of the house, not with us as current owners. The benefit of this is that if we sell our house, our warranty is valid for the future owners.

Bruce (sales rep) was very upfront and informative about what would be completed on our roof and I believe the work crew was very competent and skilled.
