M&R Roofing

I hired them to do a flat roof balcony replacement. They came and did an assessment and then proceeded to replace the roof and put back the deck. Unfortunately, the roof continued to leak even after the deck and roof were replaced. I called them back. They said the issue was with the doors and windows and not the roof. I then had somebody replace the doors and windows. Again, the roof continued to leak. I called them back and now the roofers blamed the doors and windows people and of course the doors and windows guys blamed the roof. M&R came back and tore up the ceiling to try to find the leak. In the end, it was because their guys did not caulk the drill holes from the balcony railing - they left 4 gaping wide holes which allowed water to seep through. I asked them to come back to caulk the holes, but they never did so I ended having a neighbour do it for me. The roof replacement may or may not have been necessary. At the end of the day, it appears that the roof is no longer leaking but I'm not sure if it's because of M&R's replacement of the balcony and roof or because I had the windows and doors replaced.

The second job was for a leak in the fan. It took them a while to come to fix it once it was determined what the issue was. Happily, there is no longer a leak in this place.
