Hey Nice Coat

This is the 2nd time we asked Mark to help us with painting. This time around was our basement. This guy is excellent. The painting quality was very good and he was working at great speed. The quote was accurate and I paid exactly what I expected. We are ready to rent our basement now.

Mark is professional, friendly, fast & extremely clean. The price was reasonable for what I needed. He helped me to pick the colours for a few rooms & kitchen cabinets. I'm looking forward to hire him again to paint our basement this summer. I highly recommend this company.

We recently purchased a home and Mark helped us transform and update both the interior and exterior of the entire house. He removed wallpapers from one room, repaired and smoothed the drywall, painted the rooms & stairs, painted the brick fireplace, painted wainscoting and more. He was punctual, efficient and flexible as he had to coordinate with other trades people during our renovation. He was quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had and he personally inspected the work to ensure that all touch-ups and work were to his high standards. He also painted our exterior doors, including the garage doors, and they look incredible, like new. I highly recommend hey nice coat. His professionalism, attention to detail and willingness to accommodate scheduling changes and client needs gave us peace of mind during a hectic renovation. He was extremely clean and fast with a reasonable price. We LOVE the results!

We needed someone to paint the ceilings and walls on the first floor of our town house.

We hired Mark because, of the three painters we contacted for quotes, he was the only one who actually came to our house and specked out the job. We were impressed with his demeanor and his quote was reasonable.

Mark's work is impeccable. He is extremely detail oriented, clean, efficient and fast, and he provided good advice on our colour choices. We will definitely hire him again when it's time to do the upstairs.

Mark was referred to me by a friend about 3 years ago and we had him paint our condo at the time. He did an excellent job, very fast, efficient, clean and extremely friendly. This past year, we moved from the west end to a house in the east end, we wanted to freshen up the house with some new colours so we called Mark up again and he came by shortly thereafter and gave us a great quote. He supplied everything and did another great job. 2 coats everywhere, trim, and supplied everything - even left us with some additional paint should we ever need to do some touch ups.

We're extremely happy with Mark's work and would recommend him to anyone. Thanks again.

I wish that I had been warned about this company before I hired them.

I've had a lot of bad experiences with tradespeople but this was by far the worst. Mark Burnham came to my house twice to quote the job. However, he clearly does not know how to quote a job properly. Even though nothing had changed on the day he started, he claimed that the contractor had left a mess for him to clean up. The "mess" was as it was the day before when he quoted the job and had there been a problem, he should have brought that up in advance so that I could have got the contractor to fix what he felt needed to be fixed. Instead, he ended up charging me significantly more than originally quoted.

The worst part was that he did not cover the brand new bathroom floor and permanently stained many of the tiles. When I brought the issue to him, he was verbally abusive on the phone and refused to address the problem or even look at it. He claimed it was the contractor, when there is really no disputing that it is paint. There were spatter marks from a paint roller all over the floor in addition to drip marks and smears where someone had dripped paint and then tried to wipe it away, effectively staining the tile. I am showing one picture here but it is literally all over the tiles.

He is not a professional. He seems to be doing this on the side without training or business sense.
