Appliance Same Day Service

I do not know the postal code of the company. I reached Bill by phone. A colleague had called him 2 weeks prior to my refrigerator breaking down and was very impressed. Our fridge was not cold and freezer had defrosted on Saturday. Called Bill on Monday August 11 at 10 am. He was at our home at noon. We were not sure whether to bother having a service call or to skip straight to the "new fridge" scenario. A couple of appliance repair companies we called didn't even service refrigerators! Bill was thorough, professional and knowledgeable. I was not present for the repair but my husband said that he went straight to the "starter", removed a panel and showed him the damage. He said that he would try a replacement part to see if that would fix the problem. It did. He quoted $250 including the service call. We figured we were out $1200 for a new fridge so we felt "lucky"! We were able to get some more time out of our 8 year old fridge. And another large company (it's a Kenmore fridge) wouldn't even schedule a repair appointment for 2 weeks!) Same day service and actual service. Wow.

I called the number because it guranteed same day service. A man did show up. He pocketed the very hard to find ceramic fuses that power the cook top. Told my husband and my nanny to F OFF and then proceeded to charge us before he left. It was the worst experience!!! I called whirlpool Canada and am waiting for a realy repair man
