A very disappointing experience. They took my $3,500 deposit under false pretenses and then the salesman (Tom) was dishonest to cover himself. Got my money back promptly, but dealing with Tom over the last 5 months has been a complete waste of time.
Contacted him back in July, interested in purchasing a ductless AC unit and a gas fireplace insert for our home. They were very busy at the time with AC sales and no rush on the fireplace insert, so ok, will contact them in a month.
Call back Tom, he tells me about a new kind of AC unit, we discuss details and some options, but then he’s going on vacation, so ok follow-up with him when he comes back.
Contact Tom when he comes back, get estimates for electrical and discuss with Tom. Our attic master bedroom has no heating, so we need this unit to provide heat in this cooler weather. He advises put down a deposit so he can bring in the AC unit, and he will schedule the installation in 2-3 weeks.
Accepted the contract and put down $3,000 deposit Oct 15th, another $500 on Nov 3rd. No installation date scheduled after 3 weeks so I start asking for updates. The response was that they want to focus on fireplace sales right now, so install will now be mid January, NOT the 2-3 weeks promised by Tom.
The worst part is, now total silence from Tom, he’s not only letting someone else clean up his mess, he’s being dishonest to them to try and cover up the problem he has made. Very disappointing and unprofessional.
The ironic thing is, another one of their salespeople was supposed to call me back for the gas fireplace insert I wanted to buy back in July, but never heard back from them either.

Very poor service. High prices. Customer service is not helpful and rude.
I would not recommend this company. We should trust less google reviews - they are apparently doctored and should look for another specialists who would solve the problems this company cannot - and do it for less price.

Do not use this company. They charged my Elderly parents $300 just to come by and take a look at repair. The actually repair quote was almost $2,000. We checked with another gas repair tech and he said the quote was way too high. If you want to be ripped off go ahead and call this company

The technicians were good, though watch the time. The time clocked by the technician definately favored the company. Their prices are very high. I paid $350.00 for the fireplace to be serviced, and it didn't work. IT was determined after two hours, that a new fan was needed. And then I paid for a new fan and another two hours of installation. All in all, very, very costly.

Last winter our fireplace gas did not working. So we have search on the web and found this one near our home. They came in to fix and installed the thermostat to control the temperature so we can save money in gas as well. Now weather getting cold and we found out that very nice and warm inside the house. The good thing is we can keep our home cozy and cost efficient. I would recommend this company to anyone if they needed.

Fabulous selection, professional consultation with the replacement of old insert that was not sealed or properly vented. Recommended chimney work for completion prior to full installation with specific adjustments to fit home. Excellent product, help with rebate from Fortis BC and very clean and supportive workmen.

bc fireplace installed a medium efficiency carrier gas furnace. there service was very professional. we found them to be detail oriented as well knowledgable and friendly. their prices were competive.
