I was so happy with Pete and his team's renovation of my home 7 years ago that I called them again when my condo needed updating. They were professional, stayed on budget, finished the job [mostly] on time and did not leave until I was happy with the finish. I would use them again and recommend them to all my friends.

Overall I would not recommend them. Used them a couple times and was never a job that they went beyond the basics -usually they were required to bring it up to ok / safe standards. Seems like they go through the motions but never seemed to get involved in a way that they would feel proud of their work. Their "designer" was used once and I did not go with her designs as they were expensive and unnecessary changes. On a smaller project she felt it wasn't a job that she needed to do -"the boys can do that".

It has been a nightmare dealing with these people. They don't really care about the property and the work is shoddy and the finish is very poor, if there is finishing at all. With my renovation, the walls are uneven; the ceiling is not level. Every time someone comes in, something gets damaged - window screen, fireplace insert cover, kitchen door. There is very little communication and you will never get an apology from Peter. Peter will tell you there is enough communication but you will never get a reply from him after 4 p.m. and on weekends. He also has a really quick (bad) temper and don't expect an apology from him because you won't get one. There. Is not much finish to their work. Their favourite line is "You won't see it when it is done" even in areas that are fully exposed. In my opinion, these guys are overpriced. I paid a lot for the work and unfortunately I have to pay a heavy price. Bottom line - stay away from these people.

This company did a renovation for my office. I was satisfied with the work done. They were neat and on time. Very reasonably priced. I wish they had done the electrical better though.

I heard about these guys from my plumber. They completed many renovations on commercial properties. They gutted it down to the bare walls, removed one stair case and then rebuilt another set of stairs and a landing in a different location. They removed a bathroom, including a separate shower. They built an L shaped bar. They cleaned up the area and enlarged it. There was a ton of demolition. They also put in two sets of french doors on different floors. They gave it a fresh face from front to back. I highly recommend - the service was excellent.

I got 3 quotes and this company's was the fairest. The work was completed in 8 weeks.

Excellent, excellent work, a job well done! The workers were great guys and punctual. Everything worked out perfectly; the painters, the plumbers, the whole crew were great.

I was referred to this company by a neighbour. They've done 3 jobs for me in the past. The first was 20 years ago when they did an extension on my house. 3 years ago they redid my kitchen, tearing out the walls to make it open concept. Most recently Kingswood did my roof. I am very pleased with the price for the amount of work done. I am always happy with the quality of work done. I will be giving them a call again to do my basement! I would definitely recommend them.

Last year, we hired Peter to take on the task of redoing our home's exteriors, which included the siding, windows and deck. The entire process has been a pleasure as Peter and his team succeeded in completing nearly everything before winter arrived. Peter's team worked well and were very thorough. Although there are a few outstanding items left because of the weather, Peter made us aware that they will be completed come spring. We are very happy with the renovations and would most definitely recommend Peter to anyone who is looking into home renovations.

After 28 yrs in our home, it was time to update. We had driven past Kingswood Builders' office many times over the years and decided to give them a call to see what they could do for us. After meeting with Peter, we knew immediately that he was the right man for the job. Our renovation included tearing down walls to create an open concept in the main living area, redoing the ceilings, a complete renovation of two bathrooms and a kitchen, new flooring throughout the main floor, new railings on the staircase, and the re-facing of our fireplace. Peter and his crew did a fabulous job. We were very impressed by the quality of the workmanship. Everyone involved was very approachable and accommodating. The entire renovation was completed in a timely manner and on budget. Many thanks to Peter and his site foreman, Craig, for their expertise and professionalism.

Peter was recommended to us by a family member who was very happy with a renovation project Peter coordinated for them a few years ago. Our project included the kitchen, main bathroom renovation, replacement of lights throughout, replacement of interior railing and interior/exterior paint. We were very impressed by the quality of the workmanship in most aspects of the job. Like with all renovations, there were ups and downs but Peter and his crew were very approachable and accommodating. They were ready and willing to tackle any problems that arose. Peter has high expectations of his crew and they in turn are ready to go above and beyond. We are very happy with our renovations and felt well taken care of throughout the process.

I was referred to Peter by my home inspector and have nothing but good to talk about them so far. I was warned they are supposed to be more pricey than other contractors, but do much better work with better quality. We are so far pleased with the service and are getting future projects done by him!
