Piano Tunning

Service was professional and timely, James was punctual and knew what he was doing. He answered all of my questions and explained the necessity (and rationality) of tuning frequently. I hadn't gotten my piano tuned in years, but after searching HomeStars and finding PianoInside - I am pleased to say that it sounds better than ever! Thanks James!

Piano move

After extensive research and I am very pleased with my decision to hire PianoInside to move my piano. We agreed to have the piano moved on the 7th of Oct 11-11.30 and I told James that I would meet him at the sellers house. James showed up with 2 other person at 11.40 and I was really impressed that he had the piano loaded up in his truck within 10 minutes and had the whole job done within 45 minutes. I have also decided to call him to have the piano tuned as from the very limited conversation that I had with James, it gave me a very good impression that he knew a lot about pianos. I hope he doesnt disappoint me. Will write another review after I have my piano tuned by James. For anyone looking to have their piano moved, I would definitely recommend PianoInside as their rates are reasonable and also they are very meticulous with what they do.
Update: Had James do the tuning for my piano and am very satisfied with the work that he did. Will definitely call him back to tune the piano again. Keep up the good work James.

Upright Piano Move

James has the worst customer service front. He yelled at me for not telling him that there was 4 feet of gravel during the move. I'm not sure what that would have changed because I was prepared to pay him an extra $50 on the spot. (Did he need an extra mover? More equipment? I don't think so.) But nevertheless, he felt the need to yell at me instead of being polite about it. I would not use him again when I move in a year.

Dear client.

that gravel was at least 20 feet.

I would call it 4 feet if your house has only 8 feet depth.

The extra 50$ charge was applied because you had failed to complete my application properly. even that was pretty lowered price comparing to all other companies.

only until after you checked my "Written Instruction" related with the gravel. (Which was clearly shown while you were writing the form before hiring me)
you agreed to pay extra $50.

Be honest please.

My voice went higher because of your " leave it there and leave or return it to the pick up place" attitude when I mentioned about the gravel extra charge.

Whoever you hire next time, don't treat them like us.

Expecially when you didnt give us critical information directly.related with the price.

James did a great job for us. He showed up on time and turned our honky-tonk sounding yamaha into a bosendorfer (well not quite).
Gave us some great tips on humidity and kim chi.
Very pleasant.

Excellent professional mover

I bought a 52 inch upright piano and wanted to get it moved from Aurora to Markham. Did a search on line and picked Pianoinside because of the good reviews. He and his two crew members showed up on time on the day of move, actually 10 minutes before time scheduled. They professionally wrapped and moved the piano from the seller, got it up a 12 step stairs into my house, all it took was a little more than one hour, very efficient. They are very friendly and the job was done exceeding my expectations. I would highly recommend.

Excellent :)

James and his team were superb! We had a super heavy 1910s upright piano moved into our house back in May. Our porch has 10 steps up to the main door and the entrance way is a bit narrow, but James and his team had no problem moving the piano in (very strong!!). He took pictures before and after the move to show us that no damage was made during the move. The also lay down protective covering on our hardwood floors and didn't leave a scratch on either our floors or our walls. Overall, I would completely recommend his services :)
