Mike and his crew helped us through a very difficult time, restoring and renovating our home after a fire had gutted the interior. They worked quickly, to a very high standard, and finished the work in great time. And they actually finished the work, even the small little details at the end. Highly recommended.

Excellent company to hire for windows installations.

They have installed 15 windows throughout the house. It took them 2 days. The price was very reasonable.

What true professionals with a heart. So, we are sitting on the rug in the living room enjoying some quiet time and a beverage and just loving our home. Besides the fabulous updates, attention to detail and fine craftsmanship, we are both overwhelmed with gratitude for above and beyond touches. Where to begin? Everything from the stocked fridge to the new TV and movies, finished bath, to the landscaping and new bushes out front. Not to mention, the clean up and re-org is more than we could have hoped for. It truly has been a pleasure working with you!

Mike (co-owner) of the company was amazing from the first call right through to completion. He even went with us with our real estate agent to look at houses before we had even signed a contract with him. We had the whole house gutted and custom built for us. He took care of the architect, interior designer and all permits. We had to worry about nothing. He was very involved in every step of the process. Mark was the front man in charge of the work on site and he was so courteous to our new neighbours and kept the whole project on time. Our whole house was redone in just 4 and a half months.

This is our 3rd home improvement project and the 1st time we've wanted to make a recommendation! Mike and his crew were unfailingly professional, responsible, communicative and tidy - PLUS they did a great job! They showed up every morning and cleaned up every evening. We got an e-mail from Mike almost every night, detailing that day's progress and new challenges (unavoidable with old houses), and making sure that we were on track with whatever decisions had to be made to keep the project running smoothly. M-Squared was committed to their original time estimate and when unexpected electrical issues slowed them down, they worked weekends in an effort to stay on schedule. We were most impressed by the scope and caliber of subtrades that they were able to call upon -for example, the job did not originally require a master electrician, but it did once they opened up the walls and found outdated wiring. M-Squared was able to bring in a terrrific electrician right away, avoiding what could have turned into a lengthy delay. M-Squared also provided a detailed cost estimate from the very beginning, which made it easy to see where we were spending our money and where we might cut back. The final cost did come out well above the initial estimate, but again, old houses mean lots of surprises so you have to expect that. The important thing was that Mike kept us informed, and submitted invoices for all subtrades and materials along with hours worked by his own crew.
When small problems surfaced many months after the work was complete, they showed up to correct them promptly and politely. We know so many people who have ended up feeling disappointed and taken advantage of by their contractors. M-Squared was not inexpensive, but we ended up with a lovely finished product that was completed on schedule with minimal stress and no conflict. I am happy to recommend M-Squared.

Called them on a Friday at 5pm, had a meeting two days later on Sunday and they started the project two weeks later. A great company to work with. They were exceedingly professional.
The project started with demolition of the walls and kitchen of my condo. Then it progressed to installation of new fire sprinkler system, two rooms within a room floating on vibration isolating pads. They were very agile, able to build a sound baffle for the air conditioning on a couple days notice. They came in about 3% over budget and basically right on schedule. I have already recommended their services to others.

When we met Mike for the first time, we knew he was the right contractor for the job. He was very professional - punctual, organized, knowledgeable as well as experienced. He has an eye for good, functional design and was also very realistic with us.

M-Squared transformed our old, outdated, suburban house into a beautiful, modern and functional home. Mike did an amazing job as project manager but was also hands on when needed. Mike and his team communicated with us on a regular basis which meant there were never any surprises. It was really a pleasure working with them.

When we had any questions or concerns, Mike would respond promptly.
We are very happy with our renovation; we know we made the right decision. We are also very grateful to M2 for all of their hard work. It was great having a dedicated team working on our house full time; we were impressed with site preparation and clean up on a daily basis.

Mike and his team were terrific; organized and very skilled. They completed the entire project so quick and with great tips and advise along the way, to improve our plan. It is finally warm in this room. We would hire Mike and his team again, anytime!

Following the amazing job Mike and his team did (see my earlier review) I decided to also have a library custom-made by M-Squared Contractors in the basement "family"-room. Once more, the result was better than expected. I'm joining a few pictures not only of the library (sorry the picture is not quite as sharp as I would have liked ), but also of the kitchen and bathroom done by Mike and described/reviewed by me previously. I can only repeat myself, and recommend Mike and his team wholeheartedly, without any restrictions, nor ifs and buts!
