We were extremely pleased with the quote, timing and work completed by Richard. The moldings installed are perfect and done with no disruption to our home. Richard was very accommodating in our request to prepaint the materials which he delivered ahead of time as a courtesy to us. He used extra materials to complete a separate project at no charge. He is dynamic, industrious and polite .

Richard and Paul did an amazing job installing the chair rail and trim work in my main hallway, continuing through up the stairs and into the upper hallway of our home, including the powder room. Richard asked for my input in the design and did an excellent job with the installation. They arrived on time and completed the project in a timely manner. Richard installed the crown moulding in my home. He was very helpful during the selection process when determining the style and width of moulding. Richard arrived at the scheduled time. Richard and his colleague Paul did a magnificent job installing crown molding throughout my new home. I had received a few quotes from other companies however after speaking with Richard, probing him about his technique I got a sense of comfort that none of the other companies could provide for. Richard was very professional throughout the quotation process, throughout the install and post-installation. The quality of his work speaks for itself, joints are hidden (compounded and primed), curved walls look natural, and corners are tight. Richard was always approachable during the process, and was able to provide design suggestions in certain spaces. If you're looking to do crown molding, give Richard a call and speak with him - you will definitely learn a few new things.

Richard showed up on time on the day of the installation and worked with Paul who was an equally skilled and experienced trim carpenter to install over 450 ft of crown moulding with precision mitred cuts. The finishing of all joints and nail heads was impeccable. So good that there is no rush to paint it. It looks that good. Trim work only looks great and enhances your home if it’s properly installed. I found the company highly rated on Home stars, which is what really made me decide to hire them. Even though it was pricey, the quality and workmanship was great. A total of 3 winodws had custom jamb extensions put on them... to aviod using quarter round (which I don't like). A window sill was added, along with window casing (of my choosing). He filled in all the holes with wood filler and sanded it down. So its ready to be painted.
I ran into a problem with the retrofit windows upstairs because the moulding I picked out originally was not large enough to nicely cover the chips, dents, or holes in the plaster. So he used casing I had from a previous reno. Acutally gave me his vehicle so I could go buy another piece of casing.

Also another great thing, is he left all the unused materials, including sills. So I can use them when I switch out some of my other windows.

He arrived on time, sourced the materials, prepped the moldings on completion of the job so they were ready for the painter and most importantly honoured his quote. He utilized creative thinking in dealing with some tricky corners and now our crown molding looks like it's always been there. Richard treated my home as if it were his own. He always took care and cleaned up after himself. He took time to explain to us why we should or shouldn't do something. He showed up when he said he would, did more than he said he would, and made sure the job was completely finished.
Richard also brought another expert in mouldings/crowns with him. His name was Paul. Paul was also very respectful to our home and us. In conversation, I mentioned to Paul that my front door that was rubbing against the frame and he took the inititive to fix it. He didn't even tell us he fixed it, I noticed it was fixed.
