Our furnace was red tagged and shut off by Enbridge the night of the ice storm.
I left a message with Convertible the next day (a Sunday) and received prompt communication and had Sean at my house providing a quote before the days end - despite the treacherous conditions and his own lack of power.
The installers showed up on time, worked quickly and cleaned up their mess. Our chimney liner was not installed due to weather conditions which they clearly explained and removed from our invoice.
This was one of the most professional outfits we have dealt with since beginning our ground floor gut in May.
We'll be calling them back to install air conditioning in the spring.

I used this company last summer to install central AC. They were honest, explained options and very efficient. Ken was my technician and was excellent.

Today, I came home and my furnace had "died" (-13 degrees outside). I called Convertible at 11 am on a Sunday and by 1 pm, Ken was here again and had fixed the problem. I was beyond appreciative as the temperature in my house had dropped over 10 degrees in a short period of time.

Forty years of home ownership is a lot of service people...none like Convertible Air!!! Beside being courteous, punctual and neat, they are there when you need them! Hot in Mississauga JUNE 2012, 2 of the most competent, polite fellows get the job done. Again in June 2013, furnace needed. The only sign we had they were there was nice quietly running appliances. So we move north to Bolton, coldest day Nov 2013, who comes when we call? Convertible--the company we recommend to family and friends!! For us...there is no other!!!

Convertible installed a new Furnace, AC, Humidifier, and water heater. Marnie came to our house and went through the different options. I had an idea of what I wanted, and she respected my wishes and made sure that what she offered fit my needs. Convertible was the only contractor that suggested a side discharge A/C unit up on struts in between the houses. In a smaller Toronto home this saved us having to put a unit in our already small backyard. The whole recommendation really did take all our needs into consideration (and was also the lowest cost).

Adam and team came and installed it all on two Saturdays (we had a lot to install, but he made sure we always had working heat when they left). Adam walked me through all the operation and how to install a new thermostat I was thinking of purchasing (his instructions were spot on). He also gave me his cell number and I've called him twice with questions, and he gave me great help both times (at no cost). The installation team was very respectful towards me, and my family and was respectful of our property.

We obtained a few quotes and had a few on-site visits prior to selecting the fine folks at Convertible Heating and Air Conditioning. Marnie and her team are excellent. Not only did she personally visit our house and review our needs she followed up with a very thorough quote and we had our furnace scheduled and installed by David and Craig within a week. My colleague at work told me about Convertible Heating & Air Conditioning and after 2 years of their service she continues to be happy with them. Our 16 year old hot water tank began leaking so we wasted no time in calling them. We called them on Sunday and by Tuesday morning they were installing our tankless water heater. They gave us a reasonable quote, we decided to rent to own the Rinnai Tankless Water Heater. We mentioned our old furnace to them too and this is the best part, they said, when it dies, just call us. They did not hard sell or press us in any way or try to upsell us. My husband's jaw hit the floor, he was impressed. Reviews on homestars are great so I am pleased with them & also the follow up. Great family business, this is the way it's supposed to be!

Kamil and his crew were on time, friendly and professional. They worked quietly and quickly. There was no mess left behind. The install went smoothly and looked finished. They are obviously proud of their product and workmanship

June 2013 we knew our AC wasn't working because of the summer of 2012. We called Kesavan (hvac consultant)and he came right away with quotes and to the point what he recommend (I liked that). Within a week we had our ac running before the heat wave thank you. PK has terrific customer service. He cared about us by following up if we had any problems so he could resolve them quickly.

Let me just say that I am so happy with the overall service you and your team provided. Adam was a sweet heart (sorry I can’t remember the other gentleman’s name…He was nice too) – and I LOVED the fact that you all were willing not to install a part that I didn’t need. I value your work ethic of saving the customer money.
But honestly when I opened my mail and saw that you printed out and sent me the rebate papers I was just blown away.

I had used convertible for service work on my furnace once in the past so when the time came that I had problems again I decided to call them up. My old furnace was almost 14 years old and I knew it was coming to the end of its life. The service technician was very helpful in describing the problem. He"temporarily" fixed the problem and explained that it wouldn't be a permanent fix due to a faulty part. He gave me a rough estimate on the cost of a replacement part and, when asked, was able to call his boss and get me some quotes on replacing the unit all together. I decided to replace the unit so, after checking out some price comparisons, they immediately scheduled me in for two days later which was "my" earliest convenience. Everyone who I dealt with was clean, courteous and very professional. Once done the company helps with any government rebate programs available. Look no further. Call convertible.
