When we contact Mr. Belanger, he came immediately to take care of the problem. In order to fix the problem, he had to open the wall to locate the pipe. This resulted in the need to remove the pipe and replace it. Consequently, it meant opening the wall, removing a part of the kitchen cupboard (which contained the sink, removing the frozen pipe and replacing it. This fixed the problem with the pipe.
At this time I decided that it would be an excellent opportunity to make some renovations to the kitchen on the first floor. I asked Mr. Belanger if he would be willing to take on the project. He said that he would.
He came back the next day with a plan to remove the remaining cupboards, remove the existing plaster, purchase and install new material such as studding, insulation, additional electrical outlets and switches, kitchen cupboards, counter tops, sink. All of the old material (insulation, wood, plaster, etc). was removed and taken away. With the completion of the work, the kitchen was renovated to my complete satisfaction.
