Keramin Tile Style

We received good customer service while shopping in-store, but when it came time to install the mosaic backsplash we purchased from Keramin by one of their contractors things went sour. The tile installer didn't show up on the agreed upon date because his general contractor/Keramin sales rep Ron did not bother scheduling him in. Ron's wife went into labour the night before work was supposed to take place and he used that as an excuse, despite knowing well in advance she will be giving birth that weekend and promising to arrange for one of his guys to come in instead. He never called nor apologized for his colleague's no-show - we had to track him down ourselves that day to reschedule the work. When the tile guy arrived the next day he didn't have the proper tools to remove the current backsplash, claiming he was never told this was his responsibility. He ended up winging it and did a sloppy job putting the new backsplash together. Luckily my husband was able to detect many of the crooked tiles while the installation was still taking place, but the tile installer had a bad attitude when asked to fix his mistakes. We were not happy with the unprofessional end result and it took 2 weeks of sending pictures, emails and calling the store to get him to come back and do some minor fixes. Meanwhile the salesperson we dealt with, Ron, who arranged for this work, disappeared and had not taken any steps to reconcile the situation. He ignored almost all my correspondences and even his cell number was changed. Very sketchy indeed. We will not be doing business with this store again.

After a brief correspondence with emails with Keramin's staff my wife and I decided to drop at Keramin showroom. We had the measurements and colors in mind. We were greeted by Eddy who had a good idea what we were looking for. He showed us the colors,quality and makes for the kitchen countertop and backsplash. Everything was explained and written on the work order as promised. First there was visit for the template, then came the first crew for the countertop and few days later 2 guys finished the backsplash in 5 hrs. Ron who substituted for Eddy was very helpful with the carry on job. We are satisfied with their work, kitchen looks a lot much better.

They were polite, attentive and very accurate. Despite the small working place they left no traces of stones or even dust in the room.

The tilesetters did a terrific job. They were fast and methodical and the fireplace looks great. Ask for Shamrad. The tiles were reasonably priced and the installation took place 2 days after I went into the store.

I am writing this review for those like me who always find the companies and their needed by reading the reviews as I saw this company on line and their great reviews!!!!!
I started my kitchen renovation back on to Funerary maybe late January and shop around for cabinet refacing and counter top. I saw Keramin's review as 4 star and called to see if they work with Olympia slab stone as the stone I liked was sitting there in Olympia! Although I live in East end of city took the hassle to go to Dufferin. Eddy was very outgoing and welcoming salesperson and showed me my options and gave me the quote right away and showed a piece of the counter top mentioning that this is what makes us different than the others ( simming line was very fine and barely you could see the joint on edges) that was the time I was completely sold because of their workmanship I will come back to them. He also promised me a free sink. In the contract also mentioned as Free Sink Promotion by Keramin. I got also quote for MDF refacing which was reticulated price for just refacing not even wood cabinet, and I ended up to get the full maple Kitchen( not refacing) same price as Ron ( the other salesperson that I never seen him and I believe he is managing the store) quoted me for just changing the cabinet MDF door! I chose that kitchen company and am very happy with their work and my kitchen cabinet has been done very professionally. Then I realized they do the counter top too and it would be at least $700 less than Keramin but when I looked at their model in their showroom I could see the joints and seaming line, so I stick with the plan and told eddy that kitchen is ready for counter top. Unfortunately he was on his vacation and I had to deal with Ron. I picked square sink and he charged me $300 extra Not to mention we had some sort of arguments of course but they way Ron was talking was so impolite . Note I found so many square sink in big buck stores for the same price but Ron was telling me that they are selling it for 450 and giving it to me for 300. I said OK because I really did NOT like to have any sort of round shape in my kitchen. After installing the counter top I realized something is wrong in this kitchen! Why I do not feel the sharp line or clean line in the corners and sink. Why the joint is so visible! I paid premium for this counter top but I did not get the same workmanship that eddy showed me and I paid premium for sink to show a clean square but around the sink stone has been cut in round shape.Why in the corner where my lazy Suzann is , my counter top is round like the old style countertops!:( Also the smallest part of my counter top which is beside stove (about 12 inch) one side (by the stove) the edge is sharp and the other side (by the wall) is round!!!!! Since then even eddy hasn't return my message for this issue! Very disappointed. I do not recommend this company to any one !!!! No after service whatsoever!

Keramin Tile renovated our kitchen and solarium. The scope of work included new tile flooring, electrical, plumbing, granite counter top with new sinks, LED pot lights and under counter lighting, removal of old drop ceiling and installation of new ceiling, drywall and painting. We were really pleased with the quality of work that was done and any deficiency was fixed very quickly without any hassle. It was a pleasure to work with Ron who did a great job at managing the project and kept everything moving in a timely manner with trades arriving only when scheduled so there was no confusion at the site. Victor and Alex were efficient and did a great job with the floor tiling, backsplash, new ceiling and all the finishing work. Great care was taken to cover and protect floors leading to the kitchen. Plastic walls were installed to ensure that dust was not spread to bedroom areas. We are very happy with the quality of work that was done and within our budget and timeline. All in all a very successful project and we would recommend this company to friends and family.

I had a great experience at Keramin. The had the tile I wanted at a price that was much better than any other place I visited and they delivered it the day after I ordered it...for free. I appreciated the quality service I received regardless of the size of my order.

Bought more tiles than I needed, wanted to return unopened boxes, phoned Aeron to confirm can return them, he said I was 2 days over the 30 day returns.
Asked me to keep ringing him as he wanted to check with his supplier, if it was possible. On my 3 rd phone call he said not possible to return them.

Will stick with the big box stores in future as its so much easier.

Also asked for quote for countertop, they were $ 1,600 more than my other quote.

After many months of savings for my overdue kitchen reno I have finally set a budget which allowed me to begin my search. I have seen some places but nothing really special or way out of my price range. With my busy schedule I didn’t know how I will manage till my neighbor has recommended me to visit Keramin, so me and my husband decided to go after work since they are open till 8 pm . I didn’t know exactly what I wanted but had some idea.
When I walked in I noticed very unique tiles and mosaics, a few gentleman greeted me and approached me to ask if I needed assistance. They listened to my ideas and started putting things together for me and guided me with styles, colors, kind of tiles and sizes. They showed me many options and created a few beautiful designs, I was really excited to move forward with this reno but concerned if it all fits in my budget, when it came to finalizing pricing they showed me how they can provide me additional discounts to already decent prices on tiles. They even offered me a free delivery which was a great perk considering I live down town.
I ended up doing not just my kitchen floor but also a gorgeous mosaic backsplash along with a stunning custom cut quartz counter top for my island and main counter area, all with-in my budget of just under $4700.
The guys are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Speaking with them numerous times along the way with questions on my counter top made me feel comfortable and gave me a piece of mind.
Great service and professional advice, they definitely getting my referrals and future business.
