John is really professional and polite.
He is really good at his work, i am super happy with the work done.

Would have liked to get the dry wall painted at the same time but I guess its difficult for him to figure out the paint colour from a picture but he did a fantastic job at fixing the hole and as mentioned earlier he is super efficient and very friendly.

We hired John to do a tricky drywall repair in our finished basement following a dishwasher leak. He did an excellent job - the ceiling looks great now. He was personable, professional and charged according to his estimate. I would highly recommend him. We're already planning to ask him back for cedar deck repair work.

I removed carpeting from three bedrooms and required someone to install quarter round. I contacted HomeStars and John responded quickly and said he could squeeze in my half day job within a week. He came and gave me an estimate and advised me what materials to purchase and the quantity required to complete the job. He arrived today promptly at 9:00 am and completed the job in about three hours, tidying up when he was finished. His work is very neat and the bedrooms now look finished. He was pleasant, personable and professional and I would not hesitate to hire him again, in fact I wish I had known about him before as I would have hired him for other jobs including painting, dry wall repair and floor installation. I would highly recommend Pretty Handy Guy.

Our very old basement laundry room needed a fresh look. John did a great job replacing the floor tiles. He managed to fit tiles neatly into awkward spaces. The painting was challenging as well since we have old ductwork, John painted carefully which made the room look so much better.
We appreciated the fact that the work was done in the time frame that was planned. After each day, John cleaned up the room for a fresh start the next day. He even came back to dispose of all the debris.

We were in desperate need of repairs & painting around our house and John was the perfect choice. He repaired a hole in the drywall in the ceiling of one bathroom and the wall in another and repainted both and you would have no idea that they were ever there! He also tackled the refinishing and painting of our banister/spindles and it looks fantastic! John was professional and very pleasant to work with, we will definitely hire him again and recommend him to anyone who needs work done around their home.

John did an accent wall going up my stairs. That was amazing. Changed the whole look of when you walked in the front door. He was back recently and transformed my entire home with trim, new interior and exterior doors, painted from top to bottom, all new flooring, repairs etc. He shows pride in his work by not overlooking even the smallest details.
