Dealing with Ron and Jack from Finecraft was a pleasure. They were so easy to deal with and very personable. Without any hesitation, they knew exactly what to recommend for my area. The order went smoothly and the service was quick. I had no issues upon delivery. The installer was fantastic and Ron and Jack made sure to contact me to make sure I was pleased with the product. I am so happy I used Finecraft and highly recommend them.

I purchased 3 zebra blinds for my house and they are great quality backed by amazing aftersales service. Best thing is that they are made in Canada! I had a slight issue with one of the metal chains and Ron and Jack took care of it without hesitation.

I highly recommend Finecraft Design. They installed roller blinds (nine, totaling approx. 80 feet) in our Toronto condo in 2013. We were VERY satisfied with their customer service, knowledge, price, and quality. Our installation was challenging because the blinds needed to be placed under the sprinkler system pipes at the top of our windows. However, Ron, Jack and their team handled it perfectly.
Finecraft's excellent customer service was exemplified when recently one of our living room blind's chain became difficult to raise or lower the blind and then locked up and wouldn't move the blind at all. I sent Ron an email requesting a repair appointment. He replied quickly and scheduled a visit for the next day. Ron and his Dad, Jack came to our condo and determined the problem was a broken clutch (the "cog wheel" that the chain runs through). Since our blinds were 8 years old they needed to source a replacement part. And they did! In less than 24 hours, Ron found a U.S. company that had one - after the original manufacturer confirmed that they didn't carry the part anymore - had it shipped urgently overnight and then installed it on our blind. And all for only a minimal service charge. Excellent customer service! We highly recommend Finecraft Design/Shutters.

We ordered two sets of blinds from Finecraft.
Ron is excellent to deal with, knowledgeable and replies promptly. Blinds arrived on time and were easy to install. Overall very satisfied with our experience and blinds.

We ordered two Basswood Blinds with Contemporary Valances from Blind Saver who was at the time an authorised dealer of Finecraft Window Fashions products.

Finecraft sent the order directly to us, however, included incorrect valances (top cover panel) i.e. package arrived with "Traditional" valances instead of "Contemporary" style.

We contacted Blindsaver who contact Finecraft to correct the issue.

Finecrafts response was that the Contemporary Valance was not available and refused to replace the incorrect valance. They renamed the style to "Manhattan".

Finecraft suggested we order a complete set of new blinds. The blinds were for the last two windows of our house that has finecraft basswood blinds (with contemporary style valances) at all other locations.

This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

I quoted out a job replacing the window coverings for our entire master bedroom (3 windows) and ensuite bay area (4 windows).

After obtaining 5 different quotes, my wife and I decided to go with Ron Cogan and Finecraft Shutters. Why? His pricing was reasonable (not the lowest, but not the highest), and he offered similar product to the others (we were pretty clear about what we wanted - roman blinds in a certain style/look) -- but we hired him because he cares. He takes pride in his work and in his team, and it showed the minute he showed up at the door. Ron knows his stuff.

He showed up, measured the area, talked to us NOT about what product we wanted, but WHY we wanted it, and then proceed to tell us why we our choice was wrong. And he was 100% right. We went with some beautiful heat-shield roller blinds and beautiful sheer curtains to overlay them instead of the roman blinds. The job turned out cheaper than the romans we wanted. So Ron not only did a great job, he actually sold us a lower priced plan - as I said - for him, it's not about the product, it's about the customer service. He truly cares about what he does.

Our installation was this morning - about two weeks from the order, and right in line with his promised delivery date. Ron called me, gave me the name of the installer who was coming to do the work, and made sure I was comfortable. His installer showed up right on time, and clearly knew his stuff. Within a few hours we were done -- including two on-the-spot changes I asked for. Our room is stunning - and while not what we originally thought we wanted, it's exactly what we needed.

I just got off the phone with Ron to thank him...and to schedule a return visit for 2 of our other bedrooms next week.

High end products for reasonable prices. A breeze to deal with and great customer service to top it off!

After completing a custom home build of a modern home it was almost impossible to find modern quality window coverings without having an anxiety attack. I searched all over and couldn't find anything of quality that was modern and didn't require a small mortgage, until I found Finecraft Shutters. From the moment we visited the showroom to the final installation we felt we were in good hands. Ron and his team helped us choose the best quality, and the right product for every room. They also manufactured for us several custom products that helped complete the look we wanted. Jack made sure that everything was EXACTLY measured correctly and fit perfectly when installed. I have referred many friends and clients to Finecraft and will continue to do so.

I recently completed a full renovation to a home I purchased and needed some good quality window coverings to add class and privacy to the front windows. Ron provided me a quote AND came to my house to complete measurements on the same day! The shutters he recommended were delivered within a couple of weeks and beautifully installed. They add so much to my home, I would highly recommend them to anyone. Well done Ron!
