Nu Phase Electric Ltd

Needed to replace a fan motor in the range hood and had a dead dimmer switch in the bathroom. Called Neil and he was able to come out the next day even though my jobs weren't urgent. Finished the work in no time and now I'm all set. Very friendly and courteous. Two thumbs up!!

Our dining room light was flickering off and on and the wall around the switch was warm to the touch - I worried we had a fire hazard on our hands. After being told by another electrician that he couldn't come until after Christmas, I phoned Nu-Phase. Neil said he could come the next morning. He was prompt, helpful, clearly explained what was going on (worn-out dimmer switch) and quickly and cleanly made the repair. I highly recommend Nu-Phase.

We received 2 quotes for the job and both came in very close to each other. We decided to go with Neil at Nu-Phase Electric as he seemed to think more "outside-the-box" than the other electrician we met. In the end, we were very happy to have worked with Neil who was professional, courteous, and helpful when we just didn't know what-to-do.

Neil came by short notice over the weekend to help me out. He was on time and made the work seem easy. He does practical work to help me out in the longrun saving drywalling repair cost. Impressed he does not make his job easier by destroying my newly bought condo. Neil is knowledgeable and was really helpful answering any of my questions and suggested useful money saving tips. I would schedule with Neil again for any future work.

I was initially cautious about calling an electrician that I found on the internet; I started calling friends for a referral, but no one seemed to know a good electrician. Neil at Nuphase was a pleasant surprise. He came by for an estimate, and then got to work. He was bang on with the estimate, and very quick. It was a good experience all around, and he's a very friendly guy. I would definitely recommend him to a friend, in fact I already have.

Neil was at our house 10 minutes after calling him! Found him on-line after reading some of his great reviews. What we thought might be a simple breaker replacement turned out to be more significant - Neil's trouble-shooting found some very hazardous DYI wiring done by the previous homeowner. Neil had us safely re-wired and back up and running quickly. Would not hesitate to recommend Nu-Phase to friends and family.

I have used Neil 3 or 4 times now and he is always knowledgeable. This time he fixed my electrical panel breaker due to a hot-tub problem as well as did all the troubleshooting for it. I find him honest and trustworthy and have recommended him to my friends too. Great guy !

I emailed Neil about the improper wiring of my German dual fuel stove (previous owners). Neil responded right away by email and a follow-up phone call.

The stove was hard wired in to the 220 volt. Neil said it was a dangerous fire hazard--was he ever right! Neil discovered that the oven receptacle was split by the improper hardwiring, the live wire could have easily slipped out and caused a fire!

Neil was able to figure out a safe, creative, cost effective solution to the wiring. Plus, he fixed the broken receptacle. As he did the repairs, Neil would keep me informed of what he found and what he was doing for remedy

Proper electrical work is critical. If you cut corners, then you take risks that have dire consequences (ie: shock, fire etc). Neil's priority was safety and getting the job done right.

I would definitely recommend Neil to a friend, and use him again in the future.

On Thursday night the ceiling track light in our living room suddenly went off. On Friday morning I found Neil through online search (he has got very good reviews I must say!) and asked if he could have a look at the issue the same day since we had open home scheduled for that weekend. He showed up at our place in couple of hours and tackled the issue very professionally. What a prompt service! No doubts about whom I'll call again when need be and recommend as well … Neil thank you!
