Neil was very pleasant, not at all intimidating, showed up when he said he would, all three times, and did a good job in a timely manner. That makes him a very good electrician in my book. I needed a kiln hooked up and he added a breaker to the panel and a receptacle. He also clarified for me some point that I wasn't sure about with regards to the electrical service in the building, and recommended a product I had not known about to make it easy to meter my power consumption.

Recently I converted lower level of a house into 3 bedroom suite. After several inquiries with friends about hiring an electrical contractor, Nu-Phase Electric's name came up on quite a few conversations. My project required a person not a team of people. Neil was professional, courteous and on time. He made sure that he took on the whole job, from electrical work to getting the permits and booking electrical inspections. Making sure that he was on site when inspections where taking place. Made my job a lot easier. I would definitely recommend Nu- Phase Electric to any one, be it a small house renovation or complete new office electrical work.

We purchased a 102 year old house with some knob and tub and expected to have a lot of the electric replaced. In the end we ended up rewiring the whole house and installing all the pop lights and switches we needed as well as having a new Hydro service brought in. Neil was very accommodating while we strip everything back to studs, changed our minds on where things should go and occasionally having to work around the mess we had created. This is the second job we have used Neil on and will continue to use him.

The thermostat in our baby's room wasn't working and we really needed it fixed since the weather is really starting to turn. Neil gave us a tight time range for when he would be coming, which was great so I wasn't sitting around waiting. He fixed our problem quickly while explaining everything to me along the way, and now our baby's room is warm for winter! Great price, super friendly and I'd certainly contact Neil at Nu-Phase again if I need more electrical work.

We needed an electrician to come to fix a few small problems at our rental property. Amazingly, Neil able to come the next day! He suggested we get a new light fixture just in case he wasn't able to fix the existing one, which would save us money in terms of him having to come back again. He quickly fixed the issues we were having, but also took care to explain what he was doing. Neil also paid particular attention to detail and made sure that all of the light switches he'd been working on were level on the wall and flush in the panel, which was fantastic! Last but not least, Neil is just a sweetheart of a guy-- I would absolutely have felt comfortable leaving him to work in our home while we were out. A dependable, trustworthy, detail-oriented electrician!

We hired Neil originally to hang a couple of chandeliers and to wire some outdoor lights. During the installation, he discovered our circuit breaker was not tripping properly and we had extensive aluminum wiring throughout the house, some of which were very burnt. The combo was a real fire hazard. Neil installed a new circuit panel for us, certified all the aluminum connections, capping off outlets that were unsafe, and did rewiring in the kitchen to provide separate circuits for the stove and dishwasher so that it was up to code. When the work was complete, Neil wrote a letter promptly to our home insurance company and we were able to obtain our insurance policy. We feel safer in our home due to the expert work that Neil provided and would not hesitate to hire him again or to recommend him to our friends and family.

Power went off in one area of my condo, and the breaker simply would not switch back. After reading reviews, I decided to call Nu-Phase, who thankfully are available 7 days a week. The man who answered the phone was incredibly helpful, and walked me through the issue over the phone. It was a very simple solution which he seemed happy to provide with no charge - He saved me a service call which would have cost me a silly amount of money given the issue. Now I know who to call when I have a bigger electrical issue! I would recommend Nu-Phase Electric.

Neil came to my townhouse and fixed all of my electrical problems. He was very thorough and explained everything he did. I would recommend him to anyone who had electrical work to be done. Will definitely use Nu-Phase Electric again
