I just want to say that working with Glenn and his team was absolutely amazing, from the very beginning Glenn was amazing, we told him what we wanted and he made it happen

When the work began the crews were amazing , very friendly and were always keeping us apprised to what was going on and asking how we wanted things done so that they made the project our own ie where do you want the outside plugs, lights and inside work done.

There were a few hickups along the way but one call to Glenn and he had it fixed the next day and that shows great customer service

If your looking for a professional and easy to work with company I would recommend AAHI in a heartbeat I could not be happier with how this project went and would hire them again

First and for most I would like to thank garage builders for building a beautiful garage for me. I am very pleased with the result, the price is amazing. Glenn and reg was very informative and details about the questions I had. I would definitely recommend AAHI to anyone who wants their garage done properly.

I'm very satisfied with AAHI. I was the last house on my alley with no garage so options were somewhat limited. I had lots of quotes but Reg's plan offered me the most garage and least amount of wasted space. Project was completed in a timely manner and both Reg and Glenn were a pleasure to deal with. My new garage has 10 ft ceilings, storage trusses, 18 foot door and is overbuilt when compared to all those on my street. I would recommend them to anyone.

After going to the home show in March, I had 3 companies come out and give me quotes for a detached garage in the backyard. Reg and his dad had the best quote for the asking price. After signing a contract in the spring to have my garage built in July, everything went smoothly.
The work started on time at the end of June and all work was completed by the middle of August. All the workers who came out were friendly and courteous. Reg always returned my phone calls. He was patient, understanding and flexible. It was a pleasure to deal with this family business and I am thrilled with my new space... No more scraping vehicles in the winter for me! I and truly glad to here so many people have had a good experience with Garage Builders. We didn't. In fact we didn't even get a garage . On Feb 18, 2015 we signed a contract with Reg to begin building a garage on May 15, to be completed by June 15, subject to weather conditions. We had discussed my need for a shelter to hang game during hunting season, when I come in late at night and my shed was just too small and too low. I was assured that the garage would be in place in lots of time. We had the best May and June on Record. On May 22 Reg phoned to say that the Town of Okotoks required that my wife and I sign a letter of authorization to allow them to grant a permit to Garage Builders. That is the first date stamp on the application with the town. One week after they should have started building. The next date stamp is on June 18 and stated "Date on which all documentation necessary for permit application was received." Three days after construction was to be completed. I continually called Reg and/or Glenn after June 1 to find out when they would start and was always told "a week to 10 days". We were completely unaware that they had gotten into a big blowout with the staff in the town office.
On July 21, we notified Reg that if he could not confirm that completion would be by Sept. 1 that we would have to terminate the contract. On Aug. I , we notified them that because of their construction time frame and the towns permitting time frame that completion by Sept. 1 was not possible and the contract is null and void. Hoping that we could still find somebody to build a garage before hunting season. No builders are available so now I am building a shed instead. Our contract was with Garage Builders not the Town of Okotoks and we did not know of any issue between the parties until the middle of July. Thanks Glenn your narcissistic attitude seems to have left us without a garage and a mess in the yard where we removed the shed, tore out the garden and rearranged everything to accommodate the construction that never happened and all that you did was try to blame everybody but yourself.

We had three different garage builders come out to our home last summer to provide us with quotes. The first two gave us quotes for rectangular shaped garages. Then Reg came by and came up with this fantastic idea to make the best use of our pie shaped lot. He asked us exactly what we would be using our three car garage for and adjusted the design accordingly. The price ended up being a little higher than the other two companies but the end product was well worth it.

My boyfriend now has himself a three car garage that has a two car section with attic storage, and a one car bay with a vaulted ceiling and a high lift garage door. We have three sliding windows, a gas heater and a sky light.

The work began a little late and was completed a little late as well - this was the only issue. This is an understandable one and Reg was straight forward with us as to why the timeline he initially gave us was no longer possible. He did make up for it by insulating our garage using the materials we had already bought.

Throughout the whole experience Reg was friendly and approachable. He always made you feel more like a friend than someone you hired to do a job for you. He is a great guy and his garage speaks for itself. He was the only garage builder to ask what exactly we would be using our garage for and the only one to even suggest a more innovative way of using our lot. I would use this company again without thinking about it.

Reg did a fantastic job with our "super single" ~16' by 24' custom garage. We got double french doors on the side opening into the yard. Drywall, and storage in the attic. The foundation was beefy, not just a slab. I would ask Reg to build another one for me...

Reg was very good at answering all my questions and did an awesome job of building the perfect man cave for me (garage). He was involved with every step of the build from breaking the ground for concrete to framing. He took care of everything ( permits, siding, roof and matching my siding to the house). I would defiantly recommend him and his crew to anyone and already have.

We had the pleasure of having our garage built with The Garage Builders. They did an excellent job from start to finish. Our garage was completed in a timely manner even with some disruptions from mother nature, Reg and his guys really went above and beyond exceeding all our expectations. We did our homework before going with The Garage Builders, they have been doing business in Calgary a long time and have a great reputation, superior workmanship at what I found to be a very fair price. Great job guys, keep up the good work!!

On April 24, 2014 we signed a contract with Garage Builders. On June 20, 2014 the concrete was poured. The concrete was not covered and the new concrete was damaged extensively by a hailstorm. Garage Builders did pour 2” of new concrete a week later in an attempt to repair the hail damage. However, we still have areas that are not level in our garage and an uneven sidewalk where ice forms creating a slipping hazard.
We requested Garage Builders to replace the uneven sidewalk and they refused, saying it was simply a maintenance issue. We are diligent in keeping our sidewalks shovelled and de-iced but this area is constantly freezing up.
Our experience with Garage Builders has been a frustrating one to say the least. The product we received, in particular the concrete work, is inferior. The workmanship is simply subpar and certainly not what we were led to believe we were getting.
We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Garage Builders has not provided a response thus far.
