The moving business is one of the toughest businesses to be in, I think. You are moving people’s things, people are usually not in the best mood as they’ve been packing late into the night. They have to deal with cranky kids, pets, and all the hassles of moving. So for movers, its often a tough boat to be in. Nadia and Stefan, the owners of S&Sons Moving are kind and friendly people who work hard to make the move as easy as possible. And they are great at estimating the amount of time and boxes. Many times when an individual estimates the size of the truck or how much “stuff” they have, they are way under. For many movers this poses a huge problem as the quote they give is then way too low on moving day. Nadia and Stefan are also punctual and organized. They arrive on time, or for me when we use them for staging or for clients, they are usually early. Stefan has his crews on full-time, which is important, as some movers hire day labourers for their jobs who are not familiar with moving and will either damage your items or aren’t vetted to be in someone’s old and new home. Condo moves are often the toughest as clients lots of times won’t realize they have to pre-book an elevator or pay a deposit or that there’s a limit on time. Stefan has always been patient with our clients. And if and when something breaks or gets damaged, as sometimes that does happen with a move, they are always there to rectify the situation. They are incredibly careful with a clients items and wrap and package items accordingly - these are things that take time however. No move, not even a small one, is ever 3-4 hours. I’ve always found Nadia and Stefan to be honest, straight forward, hard working, trustworthy, and lovely to work with. We recommend them!!
