Disappointed with service level and communicaions
They want money upfront for an agreed upon timeframe. not keen on that but I agreed cuz I wanted to deal with small local guy to help out in these tough days. When we get to unload destination, he says he has to do the math before he can unload. I paid for 3 hrs to unload, he thought one hour. When he realized I was right, no apology. When 3 hours were up, wanted a payment for a full hour to move last 20 small boxes in house. I said no, leave in the garage, I'll move them myself. If he had asked for 15 minutes, I would have paid it if it had been on sidewalk, he would have left them there and
left. Not easy to deal with. I would not recommend and will
tell my realtor (who provided reference) not to recommend anymore. I wanted to help the little guy instead of national firm. Should have gone with national ffirm for the same price . His son apologized for him and said he was stressed. I should be the stressed one, I just uprooted my life.

Stefan and his team moved my elderly parents earlier this week and they are truly my saviours! They were honest, quick and kind. They had to deal with unforeseen circumstances (the loading area was closed) but they found a solution and everything ran smoothly. They kept me informed every step of the way and I felt like I was working with family. The hardest working folks I have ever had the pleasure to work with! I highly recommend them.

The moving business is one of the toughest businesses to be in, I think. You are moving people’s things, people are usually not in the best mood as they’ve been packing late into the night. They have to deal with cranky kids, pets, and all the hassles of moving. So for movers, its often a tough boat to be in. Nadia and Stefan, the owners of S&Sons Moving are kind and friendly people who work hard to make the move as easy as possible. And they are great at estimating the amount of time and boxes. Many times when an individual estimates the size of the truck or how much “stuff” they have, they are way under. For many movers this poses a huge problem as the quote they give is then way too low on moving day. Nadia and Stefan are also punctual and organized. They arrive on time, or for me when we use them for staging or for clients, they are usually early. Stefan has his crews on full-time, which is important, as some movers hire day labourers for their jobs who are not familiar with moving and will either damage your items or aren’t vetted to be in someone’s old and new home. Condo moves are often the toughest as clients lots of times won’t realize they have to pre-book an elevator or pay a deposit or that there’s a limit on time. Stefan has always been patient with our clients. And if and when something breaks or gets damaged, as sometimes that does happen with a move, they are always there to rectify the situation. They are incredibly careful with a clients items and wrap and package items accordingly - these are things that take time however. No move, not even a small one, is ever 3-4 hours. I’ve always found Nadia and Stefan to be honest, straight forward, hard working, trustworthy, and lovely to work with. We recommend them!!

First they were late, then they request for money right away and tell me that it will cost me more. Very unprofessional people. I only had one couch and few boxes and they requested they will need more time and not as per our discussion. They took my deposit and left without moving anything. Do not use this moving company.

Competent and professional crew. Arrived early, packed efficiently and moved everything without a single scratch or dent. The crew was very young but polite, respectful and hard-working. They worked for over 15 hrs spread over two days with good energy and care. Thank you!

I was advised to use this company by boss. We moved our office before in June. My family had to move in new apartment in the end of August.
I called to S&SMOving one months ago. Two days before the moving day I read some reviews on different websites... That is why I was nervous until the moving time. After Stefan asked me to pay before moving and it was so scary : they will take all our we paid before. It was strange.
Anyway, Stefan is great worker!!! He is really work fast, hard and so careful.
We were appreciate him for his doing job. This company is real great moving company.
Only I wanted added little things:
the young boy was slowly worker;

Three hours is not enough to move out one bedroom apartment.
Only due to our together work (we worked in the same way as movers).
For others: please book little bit more time to avoid financial/timing issues.

S & Sons is an excellent moving company. The were very punctual and professional. We were moving to a new home and they moved it all perfectly. We needed help with pre-packing which they did wonderfully one day prior to our move. Having moved several times and even internationally we consider S & Sons the best we have ever worked with. We had a great experience with S&Sons Moving this past week. The owners of the company were very kind, helpful and upfront in the planning stages, and on moving day the movers arrived on time, worked hard to got the job done efficiently and took great care with our belongings. I would definitely use them again and recommend them!
