When we used Woodmaster Contracting for the finishing carpentry on our home we were delighted with the service provided by Mike at every stage of the project. It was truly a positive handholding experience, as this was our first time building a home we needed a contractor that was willing to not only work for us but with us. Every detail, from pricing, choosing a finishing package, and finally scheduling the different stages Mike was helpful and direct. In retrospect a service that was worth every penny. I Hired Woodmaster contracting to do a fireplace mantel for my new house that I built. Several of my friends and family used Woodmaster Contracting so I knew based on what they said and what I had seen of the work done I knew I would get a great product.
Mike at Woodmaster came out to site. We showed him some pictures of what we wanted, he took some measurements and the next day we had a detailed drawing of what it will look like. We agreed on it and within a day it was up.
Woodmaster is professional, quick, and reliable. I would recommend them to anyone as well as use them for another project.

Mike is an exceptional tradesman. He did trim work, custom made a beautiful mantle for our fireplace, and hung our doors. His attention to detail makes his finished product flawless. His standardards are very high and he is not satisfied until the job is perfect. For the quality of work he gives, his price is a bargin. He is pleasant, professional, and respectful of my home. My final bill was exactly in line with what I had been quoted. I found there are many handymen in this trade who do inferior work, but Mike is a true craftsman.

Mike installed a maple staircase complete with risers and nosings. He completed the job quickly and the quality was good.

Of particular note was the site finish of the side-pieces. It is difficult to do a good job priming the maple in a construction zone but Mike pulled it off.

He was one trade who didn't need baby-setting to deliver on-time, on-budget while working in and around other trades.

We recently built a house and used WoodMaster Contracting for all the finishing carpentry and hardwood flooring. We are extremely happy with the finished product and the level of service we received from Woodmaster. All workmanship was completed to a high level of standard and every care was taken in incorporating our desires in the custom wood work. We really appreciated how all pricing was fair and up front, there were no unwanted surprises at the end of the project. We used Woodmaster Contracting on our renovation and Mike was fantastic. He showed up when he said he would, kept his workspace tidy, and was professional and very polite. His work was high quality and he even offered some design ideas on which mouldings he thought would look and work the best. The project turned out great thanks to his expertise.
