We were very satisfied with our entire experience with Door Gallery. Al was very pleasant to deal with and he made sure we were 100% satisfied. The installers were great and they even left the premises all cleaned up. We love our door and envy body who visits always compliment us. We highly recommend Door Gallery.

The owner, Al Krafman came to look at my project and gave me a quote before I committed to working with his company. There was only information given, no pressure to decide on the spot. Other companies requested that I commit to booking an installation before receiving a site visit. I was looking for a new door to replace an old front entry door in an older home and wanted to match the original internal wood trim. The stain was blended to match to my satisfaction, the new door was delivered on schedule and installed by 2 proficient tradesmen. The original woodwork around the door frame was removed and replaced without damage. Excellent workmanship, fair prices and good people to work with. Very pleased with the process and my new door!

We moved into our new home and were looking for a custom front door. After receiving numerous estimates we found that Al was the only one that took the time to show us his extensive catalogue and help us create the right door with the right design for our home. Just as important, the door was installed professionally and on time. We would definitely recommend Door Gallery to others.

We ordered a door from Door Gallery in the end of 2011. I was told that the door would be ready in about 3 weeks. 2 weeks passed by and i got a call from the factory telling me that the door was ready to be installed. I was so happy because it ment we would have a new door before Christmas time. 2 guys came in and installed it in 1 day for me. The door looks amazing! I forgot to ask about the new lock so i went to purchase one and was sure that the installer would charge for the installation of the lock, but when i showed him the lock he said no problem and put it on without any additional cost!

Door Gallery has provided me with the quickest turnaround time, best price, and excellent service and workmanship. We had a single sidelight 34" wide wooden door. Door Gallery provided us with a dual sidelight 36" wide fibreglass door and frame. This required cutting through cement and bricks in order to fit properly which was done well. The installers showed up on time and got to work, within minutes my old door and frame was gone. The whole process took 6.5 Hours, and they took away all the debris and leftover mess from the job. I am very pleased with Door Gallery and would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their doors.

We wish we had never chosen Door Gallery. A door was delivered to our home damaged and we were expected to receive it and still have it installed. I could not believe it. They finally agreed to take the door back and fix it. A second time they delivered the door damaged (scratched up) and again I was expected to accept it and they showed me the touch up pain they would use to fix it. Again, I was expected to pay and have installed a damaged door. Needless to say, I sent the door away again. Al came to my house and to try and convince me to just have it installed. At that point, I asked for my (deposit) money back but was denied. A third time the door was delivered and installed with significant scratches, but at that point it was in my doorway. I had no choice but to let them use their "nail polish" paint to paint over the scatches. What I am most disppointed in door gallery was that I was made to feel like a "difficult" customer because I was refusing damaged goods. We will never chosen Door Gallery again and wish we had not found them.

UPDATE:
We purchased a door from Door Gallery (aka Hollywood Doors) approximately two years ago. We purchased the door from Al directly.

Some two years later, the door is in very poor shape. The paint job on the door was so poor, that the paint has been peeling off.

We immediately contacted Al and indicated our concerns with the door and the quality of the paint. It is important to note, that our front door in question is “set into” the front of our house, protected on all sides by roofing and is not exposed to any direct weather elements (i.e. snow, rain, ice, etc.).

After very many phone calls to the Door Gallery office, Al indicated that he would come to our house in the spring time to “take a look at our door”. In the spring of 2014, we began contacting Al again, through phone and email to set up a time for him to come by to look at the door.

After very many phone calls, we never received a response back. When we did receive a response back, it was highly unprofessional. Al indicated to us not to call him because he was “with clients”, but he never set up a time to come and look at our door, as he previously indicated he would.

We recall one time in particular, where we called Al, he answered and then said “go write something on “Homestars” and quickly hung up.

In fact, we have looked up both “Door Gallery Ltd.” and “Hollywood Doors” on Homestars.com and have read about the numerous people who have purchased defective products and received no help or customer service in return. Poor business practice is clearly evident.

We have reviewed the warranty given on the back of our receipt and it indicates that “Workmanship of all Windows & Doors are warranted for a lifetime from the date of installation”.

Stay away from this company. Look them up on the Better Business Bureau website, and you will also see their "F" rating.
