The Mold Guy was a pleasure to do business with. The appointment was quickly and professionally arranged. The mold inspector showed up on time and actually confirmed he was on his way 30 minutes before.

The mold inspection was thorough and involved checking the air conditioning system, filters, vents and underneath the carpet.

I strongly recommend The Mold Guy to anyone concerned about possible mold infestation following water intrusion, etc.

My wife and I recently completed a renovation on an older home, but realized we might have a mold issue that should be looked into.

After checking HomeStars for ideas on who to contact, The Mold Guy seemed to be a very straightforward and simple option. Making the appointment was simple. Ross handled the inspection, and was extremely professional, yet very friendly at the same time. He gave me suggestions to solve our problem (which turned out to be less of a problem than we had first thought) and really did not try to sell me anything at all except his advice.

After dealing with more than a handful of businesses during our reno, I've been able to spot a well run business versus the less than useful ones fairly fast. The Mold Guy is the former, without a doubt.

The Mold Guy was very professional in terms of communication and efficiency. Their staff were great at answering questions and responding in a timely manner. Booking appointments was quick and easy. Overall, I was satisfied with the service. When I got home after they removed the mold, I appreciated that everything was tidy and clean.

My only pain point is that I found scratches and dents on my wood floors where there was none before. Mine was a big job so perhaps they just had trouble maneuvering the heavy material and was trying to rush through it. Was still annoying to see nonetheless. I would still recommend The Mold Guy but suggest that customers remind the contractors to be more mindful when doing their work and maybe even put down safeguard material (like rugs).

I called them on a Tuesday and we got a schedule for the job on a Friday. They came on time and finished the job on time. They did an amazing job. I got the formal report and certification the same day. Nice job guys!

Contacted the excellent team at the mold guy, described my issues, they were able to send people right away. staff showed up right on time. professional, courteous, took before and after images, fixed some issues with the insulation and gave some helpful tips to stop the mold from reoccurring. recommend them highly.

Value added service from the moment you call, providing information and insight regarding the issue, process for remediation, and without pressure-filled sales tactics. Suggestion is to vacate upper floor during remediation.

After an AC unit leaked in my bedroom, soaking the carpet, I had The Mold Guy come to assess whether there was any mold. While I paid a little for this assessment, I appreciated the results. My roommate was home when Ross came, and he said Ross had a great sense of humour and checked all over my condo and not just the bedroom, and performed several tests. There was some mold in the corner of the room, and he gave instructions on how to remove it myself and to get rid of the carpet, and how to address the source. I called Ross afterward to ask some questions and he was very kind and took the time to answer all of my questions. Another company may have charged me thousands to come and do it themselves. I am now mold-free! I would definitely use this company again, though I hope I don't have to :)

I booked an appointment to have a mold inspection done. Ross came on time. He went around the entire house looking for visible signs. He found some mold in the basement laundry room (which were almost impossible to see unless you looked in the right lighting) and told me how to clean it. He also performed air quality tests on the main floor and in the basement. I had the results the next day and was happy to find there were no issues. The peace of mind is worth the cost.
