Over the years i have had various renovations to my suite done, and i have always hired Andrew Kennedy as my contractor. He has always been extremely helpful, available and flexible which i feel is important with any home renovation.
I have found Andrew to be very professional and he gets the job done in a timely manner. He is realistic with his quotes on the finished project. He pays attention to detail, and makes sure that you are satisfied with the work that is done.

I would highly recommend him to anyone doing a home renovation.

Andrew and Will have been helping us out since the spring of 2008 when we needed to make some adjustment to our home to facilitate easier access for a wheelchair. In addition to a master bathroom renovation they installed a pocket door, repaired flooring and changed the layout of our front hall. They did an excellent job, came in on budget and were always on time and kept the project clean. Since then they continue to help us with other work and we have never been disapointed. We just called them again last week to assist with a small repair in our back yard.

Andrew and his crew from Kennedy Construction did a great job on my kitchen renovation. I am very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone. The job was finished much quicker that I had expected. He was able to give me the features I wanted within my budget.

From start to finish, Andrew and his team were professional, courteous, and competent. The job was done on time, with no hidden surprises and the finished project was wonderful. We will use this team again if we ever need another renovation. After trying several different firms in the past, I can honestly say this was the absolute BEST.

Complete basement of our townhome gutted. Kennedy Construction put in a beautiful bathroom (where none existed) and a great family room, bedroom and laundry area. They also renovated our existing bathroom upstairs. Everything turned out fantastic. Very clean and modern. The work was done very close to budget and close to the original time-line. Also worth noting is how comfortable we were with all the contractors and subs that were in our home. With a family of 4, for a 10 week project, it is important you can trust (and to some extent "live with") your builders. Andy and Will were amazing. Friendly, polite and professional (and they even tried to be funny). Any changes we wanted were done quickly and courteously. They were able to suggest things that we hadn't even thought of that made the project turn out so much better than we had originally planned. We are very pleased and will have them back to do the main floor.

Kennedy Construction was an apprentice on an earlier renovation, which itself was very well received. Kennedy Construction has shown that their work is as good as or better than their mentor's. Our experience with Kennedy Construction is that they are fast, friendly, curteous, stay within their budget (or give you lots of warning of why and how much any extras will cost) and come when they say they will. I would not hesitate to recomend Kennedy Construction to friends or relatives and wouldn't hesitate to use them on other renovation work.

We hired Kennedy Construction to build a new multi-level deck, fence and shed, and also had them replace some windows to the deck with french doors. The team was great - they were efficient, kept the job site clean, and did a great job. They dealt with deficiencies promptly and despite many extenuating factors (including weather and other work crews), came in on-time and on budget. We particularly appreciate Kennedy Construction's professionalism and desire to do the best job possible. We have already recommended them to friends, and will continue to do so.

We have used Kennedy Construction for a number of projects over the years. While our 1929 home in East Vancouver has great bones, we have done a variety of upgrades in order to improve the look and function of our home. Andrew and his crew are friendly, knowledgeable and talented at what they do. He listens to our requests, provides input and advise on what could and should be done and the work is generally done on time, within budget and with great care and attention to detail.

Our first contract with Kennedy Construction was a complete house renovation including L/R,D/R,Kit.Bathroom @L.R. Andrew,his crew and subtrades were both knowledgeable and professional giving suggestions and continually working with us to ensure our complete satisfaction.
Additionally Andrew and crew renovated a large deck at our residence removing wood rot, reframing,new stairs and sub floor. More recently, Andrew and his crew finished a complete reno of our ensuite entailing wall removal and replacing of all fixturing, cabinetry, plumbing and lighting. His finished work including fine carpentry is to perfection.
Andrew is competitively priced with his estimates and has been within budget and completed ontime for each of our projects.
We look forward to working with him again for our upcoming kitchen renovation.

Andrew Kennedy Construction made our Christmas Eve party special last year (2010). Every year we host a Christmas Eve gathering/dinner for family and friends that has become a tradition that we value a lot. We explained to Andrew in our pre-construction discussions that we needed the bathroom renovation to be finished and ready to use the evening of December 24th. Andrew let us know that we were cutting it very close but felt confident that he and his team could get it done.

So, in the first week of December 2010, we decided to go ahead with the bathroom renovation. Andrew alerted us going into it that there would be many decisions to reach and that we did not have a lot of time for weighing the pros and cons. Andrew helped us narrow down our choices and worked with his suppliers to make sure materials arrived in the tight timeframe he had to work with. Even “unknowns” like the state of our 60 year old copper pipes were handled by Andrew and his team of qualified sub-contractors in a professional manner that allowed the work to continue to meet our deadline while all the while carefully controlling the costs. We were impressed on December 24 when the electrician arrived to install the last of the lights and trims. He did it in the spirit of the season with a friendly manner that is hard to find in the today’s hectic world.

We are very proud of the quality bathroom renovation Andrew Kennedy Construction completed for us. We cannot thank Andrew and his team enough for making our 2010 Christmas Eve gathering one that we will fondly remember for years to come!
