We hired Kennedy Construction for an extensive remodel which involved primarily an external renovation, but included new kitchen. Kennedy Construction transformed our dated 1960's home in North Vancouver into a West Coast/Cape Cod masterpiece. We interviewed many construction companies (including design-build firms). However we found Andrew had the most creative ideas which were also realistic for our budget. He really took the time with us during the quotation stage to help us get drawings done up, sharing his ideas, and give us a thorough budget. He also came highly recommended by his sub trades and the many references we contacted. Andrew and his team were a dream to work with, (we miss his crew Will, Sylvan, and Falkin!)

Our renovation involved an extension to enlarge the new kitchen, completely removing the roof structure and replacing with a very different roof-line, building out a new front entrance, recladding the exterior of the house in cedar shingles, adding a new deck of the master bedroom, transforming our kitchen space to open concept, which involved the extension, vaulting ceilings, and taking down a wall. All of this was completed on time and within 5 months. We are very grateful to Andrew and his team for working tirelessly down to the wire to get it done before Christmas.

I would also highly recommend his sub trades - especially the electrician, plumber, and counter installer.

Andrew was easy to work with, very responsive. He presented creative solutions when situations arose, always taking the time to explain things to us and give us several options to choose from. He was also adept in working with the complex District permit and inspection process. Above all, the quality of the workmanship is what we are most happy with. We hired Kennedy Construction to help renovate our ground level into a secondary suite. We liked the fact that they let us contribute where we could. Andrew's main crew was really nice and hardworking and did a great job. We were happy with most of their subtrades except for the drywall contractors which was quite an unfortunate experience, but I am sure Andrew won't use them again. The end result was exactly what we wanted!

Andrew and his crew helped us to bring a tired west-coast contemporary home back to live. The crew and sub-trades were professional, friendly, reliable, and they showed up every day and on time. No smoking or food in the house or on the property. Everything agreed upon, was carried out exactly as discussed, and if there was a problem it was fixed immediatley. We had Kennedy Construction put in a new kitchen and bathroom in our home that really needed an update. The work they did was amazing. They were always super friendly and on time. The sub trades they recommended did a fantastic job as well and were easy to book. I highly recommend this company if you need a reno.

We had 3 bathrooms that needed to be updated in our 80's built home in North Vancouver. We found Andrew through Homestars and by recommendation of our cabinet builder. Andrew has a great team of people working with him, who for the most part, were extremely friendly and accommodating of our 2 year old's afternoon nap schedule that we required them to work around. Andrew was always reachable on his cell and the workmanship was very good. Billing was accurate and timely and Andrew was very upfront with the costs and his contractor mark up on supplies. Sometimes challenging to get his sub-trades to show up when they were scheduled, but the finished product makes it easy to overlook.

We hired Andrew and his team to completely renovate both bathrooms on our main floor. The bathrooms were original to the house, with one being a 4 piece and the master being a 2 piece. The team removed both rooms to the studs, and then reconfigured the space to give us a larger master bathroom using some space from the other bathroom. The finished product is amazing, so much more than we could have hoped for. Andrew and his team were very professional, tidy, and the work was to a very high standard. As we had never gone through a project like this before, Andrew walked us through every step, and made sure we kept to the original budget.

Kennedy Construction was retained to install a free standing cedar deck on the rear of our Arbutus area house. The work consisted of the installation of a free standing deck foundation, deck surface, railings, stairs, and cedar roof support beam system. During the process Andrew kept us informed of his construction schedule and provided excellent design ideas. All of the craftsman involved on the project did excellent work. The guys cared about the quality of their work and did not rush to simply get the job done. The cedar selected by Andrew was of very high quality. We are very satisfied with the project and would recommend Kennedy Construction for your next project.

Kennedy Construction renovated a major part of my 104 year old house,using a variety of trades people.The work was done professionaly,on time and at a reasonable cost.During construction we were faced with several unexpected problems.Previous reno done by other owner had to be completely redone.Part of roof had to be reinforced.Foundation repaired.All of these "extras"were done quickly,and at reasonable costs.
