Green Gardeners No Longer In Business

I initially contacted Green Gardeners to get a quote for pruning my 13 year old rambling rose. But once I met with Andrew I decided to get him to quote on landscaping the strip of land at the side of the property as well. The problem was that there was a severe slope to the area and over the years, because water just cascaded down the slope and into the roadway, the soil had become clay-like and didn't nourish any plants. Andrew suggested a terraced look to the area to alleviate the problem, and suggested that perhaps a few junipers and some ornamental grasses would be not only attractive, but easy to care for. We agreed on the price and the design and within a week he and the crew of 2 went at it. They arrived on time in the morning and worked straight through until suppertime. The roses were properly pruned and all the deadwood, weeds and debris were loaded onto the truck and hauled away. The landscaping was even better than I had dared dream of and everything was cleaned up and taken away. Andrew really knows his stuff and so did the men he had with him. This was, without a doubt, the most pleasant experience I've ever had with an outside contractor and I intend to use them for more projects I have in mind for the backyard. The cost included not only the labour of 3 men for a full day, but the natural stone blocks used in the landscaping, and 4 shrubs and 6 ornamental grasses.

Last fall Green Gardeners levelled, replanted and resodded our front yard and made it look fantastic. They were ontime, worked the full day, and actively went out of their way to save us money. We were very happy with their work.

This is by far my favourite company to help with my backyard and garden! The team was extremely polite and put a lot of effort into "shaping" my background that the was I wanted it to look. Definitely going to call them again!

I needed to improve the garden since it was going for sale. The hedge had been ignored for too long, it was simply to tall for me to trim. The grass needed to be resodded and parts reseeded. The men did it all in the time they needed to, even though, they did arrive late. It was worth the wait.

We are repeat customers of Green Gardeners. Last summer (2011), we hired the company to redo the entire front yard with natural stone and native plants. We also mulched the entire backyard and had a small retaining wall built. This summer (2012), we rehired Andrew/Kris to create a raised garden bed in the backyard using more natural stone. The team at Green Gardeners is very professional and cost-conscious. The staff definitely promotes eco-landscaping. They always make the whole process lots of fun. We went together to look at and choose stones at the stone yard. Another day, we went together to various gardeners to look for the right plants. At every step, Andrew/Kris gave us their professional opinion and recommendations but with plenty of opportunity for us to provide some input. Overall, a great company to deal with... We are planning to hire them again next year to continue working on the backyard: flagstone path, patio within the trellis, fire pit, etc.

This company was excellent, they were referred to my by a friend and I couldnt have been happier. From the moment they came to the consultation to when the job was completed they kept my informed and up to date on pricing changes and information. I was very pleased with their service and will definitely use it again.

As soon as we met Andrew we knew that he was the right guy to re-design our disaster of a backyard. His passion and knowledge shone through and our expectations were more than met with a beautiful finished job. His team were a joy to work with, they went above and beyond and created a space that makes my wife, daughter and I happy every day - surely no higher praise.

Green Gardeners truly delivered! I wanted to give my parents a beautiful garden they could be proud of. My main criteria was that it had to be “senior-friendly,” as my parents are getting older. Andrew listened very closely, responded to all my inquiries, and delivered on everything promised. It was a real joy having Andrew and Bennett work on my parent’s garden. My mother is just thrilled!

I was very impressed with Andrew and his team at Green Gardeners. They kept to the timelines promised, showed up for work on time and worked hard all day long. The end result was fabulous. My garden looks great and I am constantly getting compliments from neighbours and friends. I certainly recommend Green Gardeners for your landsaping needs
