Mp Renovations

We completed a full basement renovation, including a bathroom, bedroom and flooring etc... After meeting with numerous contractors and not being impressed, we decided to call MP Renovations. After meeting with Octavio and Janey, we had a feeling that they would do a great job. Octavio was great! he was always on time, and worked within the hours we requested. His craftmanship and technical skills were evident in the quality of the work. He was extremely polite, and clean! always putting his tools and materials away at the end of each day, which we considered very impressive. The project was also completed on time (1 month) Janey was a great communicator, and problem solver that handled a variety of design issues we had during the renovation. All this made them a very impressive team.
I would recommend them highly to anyone looking to complete a renovation, although we don't want them getting too busy! As we will be using them for future projects. Thank you for the wonderful new basement!

My basement was in need of renvoations. I had removed some walls and the ceiling and then realized the job was to big for me to complete. I called Janey and Octavio and they were here immediately. From our very first meeting I new they were both very professional. WOW!! What an amazing job Octavio did. He worked so hard everyday and never took breaks. His craftmanship is wonderful! I needed to repair my basement walls and floor, after water problems caused by an incompetent previous contractor. Janey and Octavio came quickly and did a very professional job. I would definitely hire them again.

We hired MP Renovations on the recommendation of a friend to replace a third bedroom (which had been removed a long time ago) in an open area of this almost-hundred year old house. We had a concern that the construction would not appear to be "new" but blend in with the existing architecture of the hallway and adjacent bedroom doors. The workmanship of Octavio was superb! In addition to building the wall, the job also involved repairing, restoring, and installing an old door (from Habitat's Restore) and putting together "similar" crown moulding along the top of the new door, since it wasn't possible to match exactly the existing trim. Because the original 8-inch trim at the floor (in the hall and inside the "new" room) was no longer available, Octavio replaced the old trim where necessary to create a seamless new hallway and bedroom interior. Octavio is a true craftsman. From start to finish - a startling short time of under 2 days given the detailed work - Octavio (with help from Janey and Eugenio) did a great job and we were thrilled with the result. The wall and door look just like they have always been here. MP provided framing, drywall, carpentry, painting, finishing, and complete clean-up, accompanied by very friendly and helpful customer service, and for a very reasonable price. I will definitely call them again and recommend them to all.

They gave us an amazing estimate for labor (as we supplied materials) regarding an area of our house, the main area, entrance and kitchen. They had to rip out 3 layers of floor underneath in one part and brought all to level, then installed our hand-scraped laminate floor and ceramic tiles in the areas we needed and did an excellent job and had an amazing eye for detail. They were here early daily and stayed the whole day and finished a day in advance, they always cleaned up afterwards and were courteous and kind and we will be using them again in the future for more projects.

We hired MP renovations for our basement completion, the project took the 4 weeks they said it would. They would be on the job everyday, all day until it was finished. Octavio was always curteous and respectfull of our family and home. He would always keep us informed of the progress and ask questions as to how we would like to proceed on any issues or details. MP renovations gave us a basement that exceeded our expecations, quality materials were used thru-out the project from the sub-floor, framing, electrical to final fit and finish. We are very confident that we now have a properly constructed basement that will give us many years of enjoyment and on a very fair price point

This is the second significant reno we've done with Octavio and Janey's help over the past several months and both times they have exceeded expectations. As others have mentioned, Octavio is always on time, on budget and works very hard. The craftsmanship is excellent and he has a great eye for detail.
On our last reno, he had to come in on the weekend to finish up as we had a hitch with other contractors...no complaints, no issue...he just showed up and did a great job. Thanks Janey and Octavio!

We had some work done to our Ensuite Bath, Powder room and Family Room. Tile work, Drywall, Painting, Installing of plumbing and vanities and hanging of Flat Screen Tv was the scope of work.

Octavio was very good and respectful to our home and family during the project. He arrived on time each day and left the house clean and the end of each day.

We are very pleased with the result of our project and have already received compliments from friends and family.

We would have no problem recommmending MP Renovations!
