Urban Detail

Mario and his team at Urban Detail did a great job renovating my Townhouse in Mississauga. This was not a standard job as I live overseas and in a very different Timezone, the whole job had to managed remotely, all communication about the requirements, materials etc could not be done face to face, I would not be able to ‘see’ the finishes. Mario and his team at Urban Detail understood the requirements, and proposed solutions according to my budget. Renovation included kitchen, bathrooms, new Basement and flooring throughout. Once the job started they went the extra mile multiple times by regularly communicating with me after hours over the phone, email etc, keeping me in the loop almost daily with pictures and video messages showing progress of the renovation. I trusted Mario and his team and they delivered! I would recommend Urban Detail to anyone in the area, but specially to those like me, including property investors overseas that need a trusted hand when renovating properties in the Toronto area.

Mario installed a beautiful glass and marble mosaic backsplash and pot lights in our kitchen. We appreciated how precise he was with making sure we had the right type of light for each working space and how each light lined up cleanly on the ceiling. Our dated kitchen became streamlined and bright in just a few hours thanks to Mario.

Mario did the renovations of our Bathroom in our condo and also the floors and he did a terrific job. He did the work in the time he promised it will be completed and his team kept thins clean around the work area.
My husband and I are very happy with his work and we will recommend Mario to our friends if they need renovations done at home.

Mario and his crew created two rooms, a bathroom and main area in our basement. He created a theatre area and prewired everything for us. He also replaced our stairs and made sure all the electrical and plumbing were up to government standards. His work is beautiful. He has creative ideas and works with you to create what you want within your budget.

Half the job was great, and half the job was terrible. Some of Mario's trades did a terrific job, and some were so bad I wondered if this was there first renovation experience. I told some trades to leave and never come back.
THere were a number of bad errors/problems during the job that Mario's team remedied. However, when I called, emailed & texted Mario a few months after the job ended and was paid for I never heard back. I had to pay again to fix the nasty floor tile job, fix the leaky shower wall and recaulk the cracked and crumbling shower walls.

Mario did a fantastic job on our basement. He was professional, and his work is superb! He had great ideas, and we could not have done it without his help! Thank you Mario!

This company is very reliable it is a pleasure to work with them and the results are fantastic.. The workers come on time and clean up after the job is complete. I hired this company originally 12 years ago to complete my basement. I was so pleased with their work that I have since hired them to remodel my kitchen and bathrooms as well as redo my deck this summer.

We were extremely happy with the work Urban Details completed in our house. We have known Mario for quite a few years and he is always available to help us when ever we need him. He had created a beautiful custom three piece bathroom, by reducing one of the bedrooms, building a wall of division on our upstairs floor. We had only two bathrooms and addition of third one helped us selling the home with a better value. All the staff were very friendly, professional and very helpful with great ideas. He build an office in our business and he also helped us in our new house with lots of odd jobs We would highly recommend them. They also completed the project in the time and try to do the way you want.
