From start to finish it was a pleasure working with Goldwood. We solicited 4 quotes to renovate our staircase & railing as part of a full home renovation and on top of being extremely competitive, Goldwood was the only company that recommended replacing the stairs versus capping the existing hardwood. The finished product is stunning, exactly as we designed and has exceeded our expectations. Their professionalism throughout the process and workmanship is very impressive and we would whole heartedly recommend Goldwood! We recently had our stairs done by Goldwood Stairs, a stair contractor based in Markham, ON. We wanted to have hardwood on the tread, fresh paint on the risers and dark varnish on the railing and posts. We are very pleased with their work which started with prompt response to our inquiry, on-site inspection, top quality workmanship, and reasonable price point. All in all, they did an excellent job! great work from start to finish. Had 30 year old carpet replaced by hardwood on 2nd floor and new stairs. The house looks brand new! And all done in 2 days.
