Main stairs, upstairs foyer, nosing and basement stairs
Excellent work done on a very large project. These guys started work ahead of schedule and worked quickly. Workers are very trustworthy and I had no issue leaving them alone in my house.
The whole project took about 1.5 weeks. During this process the team took care to seal off areas of my house to mitigate dust and at the end of each day they did a thorough job of vacuuming up their mess.
Communication with Mesh and Rajan was great. They always kept us up to date about when we could expect the workers to be here and how far along we were in the project. They addressed all of our concerns from the size of hardwood to perfectly matching the wood colour.
My only criticism (and I emphasize that this is NOT ideal stairs fault) was with the supplier of the spindles who kept sending the incorrect ones- this resulted in the job completion being delayed by a few days. Having said that, both Mesh and Rajan were very apologetic and went above and beyond to rectify the situation such as sending their guys on a Saturday to keep working on the job.
Pricing for the job was very competitive with other contractors and ultimately we decided to go with Ideal stairs as they offered the best combination of price, job turnaround time and overall comprehensiveness of the job (they did everything from tearing up carpet to the hardwood floors to finishing off all the staining---- we literally didn't have to lift a finger.
Would definitely would recommend these guys to friends and family, in fact we already have!
