Loveseat and accent chair purchase
This furniture store on the Queensway has very poor customer service. The staff requires training in returning calls from clients and contacting them when there is a delay in their order.
I ordered furniture at this store at the end of February. Despite being told I would receive the delivery in 8 to 10 weeks, the furniture arrived 13 weeks later. The chair was damaged and they indicated they would reorder it. I received the replacement chair on November 9th - more than 8 months later! I would have purchased furniture elsewhere had I known it would take this long to receive it. My problem with this store is the number of calls I had to make to inquire about the status of the chair that went unacknowledged and unreturned. I think the staff takes their cue from the store manager Marisa - she made the sale in the first place - but then took no interest in assuring that the delivery was made. I had to resort to going in to the store in person to actually speak to her and later, when I still received no answers to my calls after another missed deadline, to state that I would be contacting head office if she did not respond. I will not return to this store that is sorely lacking in customer service. It is a case of making the sale and then forgetting about the customer.
