Reached out to calibre electric and within 2 hours they set up a free quote. Jeff came out and provided a price on the spot to upgrade my service to 200amps. The crew was book a week later and they coordinated with hydro and esa for a 1 day installation. They labeled my entire panel which is nice.

Jeff Came out to provide a free quote explained everything including how the generic worked and provided back up power seamlessly along with warranty, maintenance. the crew came installed it flawlessly while taking into consideration aesthetics which we appreciated. they did a test run at the end of the day so we knew what it would feel like during the fist power outage and activated warranty, set up all features of the generator. Hands down, best company for a home generator. They handled everything with the utmost care and professionalism. My generator was installed within 30 days. All other companies quoted a higher price, with a longer lead time (6+ months). Highly recommend.

The quote for our generator and the people who installed our generator were very prompt and kind. However, damage was done to our property leaving us without wifi for nearly 40 days, to which the owner, Scott, would not acknowledge and has subsequently stopped correspondence.

Our generator was installed on Dec 20th causing damage to our fibre optic wifi line. We made Calibre Electric aware immediately and Kristina (our primary contact until this point) asked for us to keep them apprised of any costs associated with the damage. After two weeks without service due to the damage, and our wifi company's availability limitations, I contacted Scott for compensation for increased data charges, to do minimal work and masters from home. I called and left a voicemail on Jan 8th to chat about our circumstances, emailed on the 10th to update my availability for a call and called again and left a voicemail on the 12th. Scott emailed on the 15th asking for the report from the wifi company outlining the damage. We provided (a snippet pictured in this review) on the 19th. I emailed again on Jan 24th, and Feb 2nd to understand what the company's next steps would be to resolve this. Today, Feb 21st, we still have not received any correspondence from the company.

Although wildly frustrating for us, my biggest concern is the appalling customer service, from the owner, no less. We have a warranty with them; this situation giving me absolutely no faith that they will promptly respond, or respond at all, should there be an issue with our generator down the line. This whole situation, again from the owner, speaks to the values and integrity of the whole company. I absolutely would not recommend.

The team was helpful and efficient through the process. Questions were answered promptly. Cost was fair to both parties. The onsite teams were excellent and well organized. The office back up was stellar. We're 75 years old, so some patience was required, with no whining or attitude that we seniors sometimes experience. The installation is neat and clean. The minor adjustments that were needed were timely completed. I don't know where they recruit their employees, but they have a team of young, presentable, knowledgeable folks that any business would be proud of. A year ago we purchased a hot tub through Pioneer Pools and got the electrical work completed by Calibre. We had a fantastic experience (though I did not leave a review at the time) and when we purchased a new home and decided to move the hot tub along with us, our first choice was to call Calibre to complete the electrical work again. A little slow to get an estimate for what we needed, but that was simply due to the volume of work they had at this time of year.

They came by our old house to tie-off the electrical a day before the move to ensure the new owners were not left with anything exposed. A couple days later they were at our new house to install the hot tub electrical, as well as install 3 new junction boxes (2 in the basement and 1 for a gas stove) and a whole house surge protector.

I spoke with our Pioneer salesman and thought we were going to get the promo price for the hot tub electrical again, but unfortunately we did not see that price come through on the final electrical invoice. Other than the price being slightly higher than we expected on that side, it was an excellent job done.
