I had the Company come in to do a partial BBQ cleaning (I have Napolean Prestige Pro BBQ) and double-check the gas line hook-up as an annual safety precaution. They sent 2 people and the service took just over 1-hour.

Pros: Did a really good job cleaning the BBQ. We had a nest that got built by some sort of animal/rodent/pest in the side infrared burner [see photo] that got cleaned out. The cleaning team (like always) seemed very friendly and professional.

Neutral: They showed up 1-hour earlier than scheduled, which some people could perceive that to be a good thing. Others might perceive that to be a negative thing. So that depends on perspective and the customer's schedule.

Cons (that led to their lower rating than previously): Their back or front office does not seem organized. I tried to call to make an appointment and left them a voicemail. No one called me back so I followed-up 1-week later with an email requesting confirmation of the date/time of my appointment and the cost. No one called or emailed me back so I emailed again another week later to follow-up and the response received back did not have any of the details that I asked for. They effectively just said "OK" to the appointment date that I proposed but did not confirm time nor the cost that was requested. I replied asking for clarification on the time and cost and did not get a response. I called one week prior to the scheduled appointment date to obtain a cost estimate and clarification of the appointment time. In my humble opinion, I do not believe this is an acceptable level of customer service. We finally did confirm the estimated appointment time to be around 12 pm to 2 pm. I was surprised when the service staff called to say that they could come around 11 am (1-hour earlier --> see "Neutral" section above).

We asked BBQ Boy to check on our fireplace gas line. They came and was able to correct the issue. They were quick and fixed the issue but their service is a little on the expensive side.

I had used BBQ Boy to service my Weber Genius BBQ approximately 7 years ago and was very pleased. This time, with a different BBQ, I needed to convert a Weber Genius BBQ from NG to Bulk LP, and to clean it. The work was completed, as agreed, at the price agreed, on time. The BBQ works like a dream in its new setting (a cottage), and looks like brand new, even though it is over 5 years old. I found Neil straightforward, honest, and customer oriented and definitely recommend his service.

Beware of this company. The worse customer service ever. If you use them do not pay until everything is 150% otherwise they will never come back to the point that if you ever get a hold of them they will say they never serviced your premises even though you have an actual bill. They will never call back and always ask to text their address.

Neutral: They showed up 30 minutes earlier than schedule, which some people could perceive that to be a good thing. Others might perceive that to be a negative thing. So that depends on perspective.
Slight Con: Potentially due to the strength of their cleaning chemicals, I noticed that some of the symbols/graphics and labels on the BBQ near the knobs were scrubbed off.

BBQ Assembly and initial gas line hook up was done in June 2015. I thought they did a good job and everything was done professionally.
The gas line was already "roughed-in" by the builder, so BBQ Boy just needed to connect it to the new Gas BBQ that I also had them assemble. This was $181.

In June 2016, due to some repairs I needed to the landscaping in my backyard (not due to BBQ Boys), I needed the gas line unhooked for several days so that the landscapers could fix their work. Then BBQ Boy had to come back a re-hookup the BBQ to the Gas Line. Since they were on-site, I pre-arranged it so that on the re-connection to the gas line that they also did a BBQ Cleaning.
This disconnection, re-connection, and BBQ Cleaning was $130.

I was happy with all their services to date (currently Aug'16).

BBQ Boy came to our house and cleaned our BBQ. They were very responsive and prompt. They did a very nice job and they cleaned up the mess. Also, they recommended some parts that we will need to change next year, but they did not try to increase our cost by recommending unnecessary improvements. I will use them again next year. Thank you.

BBQ boy was prompt in answering the phone and setting up an appointment for installing a gas line in my home for my gas bbq. But when the hole he created from the brick wall outside which leads to the basement wasn't sealed nicely by him, water started leaking in my basement. When I asked him to come back and seal it nicely for me, he told me to text him my address. He had no real intention of fixing the issue and he just wanted to get me off the phone asap.
I called him several times and texted him several times after this and he didn't respond.
If you can't find anybody other than bbq boy, then make sure he does the job right the first time, because he definitely doesn't guarantee his work. Very unprofessional.

I asked the BBQ boys to help clean and replace parts in my 15 year old Napoleon 450 BBQ. Set it all up with Neal and agreed on a price only to have the technician visit and proceed to ask for more money (even though they never provided a written estimate - even though I asked) and not finish the job. It still doesn't work. This really upset my wife who was here the technician was very rude to her. I've tried to remedy this for the past week with BBQ Boys and they have not helped. Not happy and would not recommend this company.

I tried BBQ Boy after becoming disappointed with my previous provider. I was not disappointed! The work was flawless, the people friendly, and the clean-up perfect. Work is not cheap but worth it.
