Very professional,considerate and helpful. I had an old pool heater that Bill did everything he could to keep working. When it finally just couldn't be fixed anymore and I needed a new pool heater installed, Bill came out when he said he would, repaired the lines that had to be repaired, modified the connections as needed, took away the old equipment, and had it up and running in a short period of time. With the summer season so short, being able to heat the pool extends the season for the whole family. I would recommend him to anyone.

Last summer during a heat wave my daughters A/C quit. Ashton heating and cooling was referred to her by a neighbor. Bill was able to come later the same day and get her A/C repaired at a very reasonable cost. So when I had problems with my furnace recently I called Ashton heating, they showed up the same day. Bill explained what was wrong with the furnace and gave me options regarding repair(18 yrs old) vs a new furnace. I decided that a new furnace was the better option. Bill and Josh showed up on the day and time promised to install my new furnace. I was extremely pleased with their workmanship and cost of the installation. Bill has been servicing my furnace and gas fireplace for a few years and his fair pricing and great service has kept us coming back. This past winter, my fireplace stopped working. The manufacturer advised that an entire new kit was required as they no longer manufactured the one part that I required. Bill found the parts that we needed and installed them as soon as they arrived. His knowledge saved us a few hundred dollars in parts. I would definitely recommend him for fireplace or furnaces.

They came in day of to repair my furnace on the coldest day. The summer previous Bill installed my bbq gas line and I would not trust anyone else to recommend the best furnace for my house. They had the new furnace installed with in hours and they cleaned up the entire area removing excess materials. Ashton Heating and Cooling is my go to company.

Replaced a thermostat, thinking it was my issue, furnace would not stay on or follow the program. Quickly determined this wasn't the issue. I called Bill, who had worked on my pool heater earlier this year, and he was out to my home within a couple of hours. He quickly determined it was a switch that required replacement and in short order had me up and heating again. That all you can ask, quick courteous service, I highly recommend.

Over the last 6 years Ashton Heating and AC has installed air conditioning, installed a humidifier, replaced my furnace motor and because of a minor flood last week replaced a circuit board and valve. after 27 years I recently had to have my furnace & air conditioner replaced and found it to be a interesting adventure -so many companies offering various brands with many differences in pricing .it can get confusing -who to choose? -what to choose ? can you trust what your being told.? after many conversations I finally found a local family business who lives in and knows Durham region well and who had all the right answers .
I highly recommend this co who is by far the most service oriented and economically priced option in the market -able to offer a high quality product with the best warranty option at more than reasonable prices and 1-day installation . the day of the install Bill Ashton the owner and staff were on site and were very informative as to explaining the various stages and function as the install progressed . as promised it was completed on schedule

From my first inquiry Bill's product knowledge and professional was impressive.Replacing an oil furnace with gas was completed in 1 day with Bill onsite overseeing his team who did an excellent job, as well did an amazing clean up.Bill is now handling the gas meter hook up process and we are looking forward to the completion up once the gas meter is installed.
