Oh my goodness. Frustrated beyond belief with kitchenAid and 13 days without a fridge that is on warranty (4 months old) and finally I get service. Positive attitude and happy to repair the compressor. Mohinder Sagoo made my day and efficiently repaired the fridge. Even when a portion of the parts they sent him were faulty. Treasure to have in your home. I will recommend City Appliance for sure! 10/10

Mohindar of City Appliance was willing to come out on a weekend for a very reasonable price to fix our dishwasher. It had a piece of glass obstructing the pump.

I have used City Appliance before, but never written them a review. I have never been disappointed

stove not functioning - called Sagoo and he troubleshot over the phone and assumed it might be an element. Turned out, after his visit, it was a malfunctioning clock. He was able to order the part and within 48 hours I have a perfectly operational stove. Yahoo! I would highly recommend this company - highly professional, efficient and on top of things.

The issue was the machine spinned at a high rate regardless of the setting, then within a few days the machine would not proceed past the initial phase of the wash cycle. Called City Appliance and for a cost of $341.25 ($75 service charge, $75 labour and $175 for a control motor) the fellow determined was the issue was resolved. The fellow ran a quick spin and then started a wash cycle to demonstrate that it was repaired, but did not go through the whole cycle. I was advised that the bearings were going, hence the louder than usual spin noise. However, the fellow indicated I could continue to use the machine as long as I could tolerate the loud noise. Three days later, after four loads of laundry, the machine was again not proceeding past the initial stage of the wash cycle. I certainly wondered if it was the control motor at all? I immediately contacted City Appliance advising him that the replacement did not repair the problem. He indicated that he was unable to come this day, but would contact me the following day to come out. He did not call back, so I have paid $341.25 for nothing. Best practice is for the business person to follow up with the customer to resolve failed repair issues. This indicates to me once paid, there is limited incentive to follow up with failed repairs. What is the point of 30 day warranty on parts and labour? In retrospect, I should have asked for the new control motor packaging and kept the old one. Then I could have requested a refund of the new motor and have the old one put back in as it did not appear to be the issue. Or was the new motor a defective one? I will not know these things as no one called me back. Additionally, on the invoice he documented it to be a fridge, not a washer, so I guess that may have voided the whole repair regardless? Yes, I know that the response will be for me to have called back to inquire if he was coming, however, I am the customer and after my initial call, it would be the service provider's responsibility to be attentive to a customer's needs. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this service.

I have used City Appliance several times in the past and have never been disappointed. He usually knows what is going on with the appliance before he shows up which is very good because he usually has the right part to fix the issue on the first visit.

Day before we were leaving for holidays, fridge stopped working!!!
Found this company online and right from the first contact all went very well. Sagoo showed up right on time and knew what the problem was, as he had the part on hand. A short time later we once again had refrigeration. This is the way I wished repairing would happen.

I discovered my dryer was not working properly and called City at about 1pm to see about having a repairman coming to look at it. I was pleasently surprised that they would make it later the same day. The guy arrived around 3:30, checked the problem and had the part replaced just after 4pm. Very courteous, quick and neat. I would definately use this company for any of my appliance repair needs and reccomend them to others.

our dish washer wasn't working well.

I contacted them in the morning and their repairman (Sagoo) came in the afternoon.

He almost immediately knew the issue and the repair was done in less than 1 hour!

Called this morning. Was to,d he would be here between 10-11. Showed up at 10:40. When I called he asked if it was digital controls. I said yes, and he knew right away the circuit board was burnt out. Replaced it. Took 10minutes. Circuit board was 300$ service charge and labour 125 and then taxes. Cheaper than a new fridge!!
