My washing machine decided last night it didn't want to agitate or spin any more. I called City Appliance mid morning & he was here within 3 hours of my call. I was very pleased to have same day service & happy the machine was repairable. Thank you!

Called and was told service technician could be over in an hour. After a quick discovery process, found the trouble, quoted the repair price and got our washing machine fixed

My The fridge was not cold at all back in April. They came and repaired the problem . Ice buildup preventing fan from operating.

About 4 weeks past by and the fridge part was getting warmer each day, no cold air. I called them and they explained that it looks like a part needs to be replaced. They ordered the part and came back again to replace the part. A week past by and I advised them that there is still no cold air from the fridge vent.

They came back a few days later and told me the cause was a wire blocking the fan from working. It took three visits (and me taking time off work three times too). My fridge has been operating good for the past 6 months. Overall, at the end, City Appliances they did a good job on the repair. I would consider using City Appliance's service in the future if required.

2You a message. Response was quick. Claudio was able to fit me in for an appointment that met my schedule. It took about 2 hours. New hard drive was installed and my files recovered. I also decided to replace my existing virus protection with a new product. The computer has been running great for the last 4 weeks or so. I would recommend Claudio with Nerd2You Thanks Claudio ...great service!

This past weekend my Samsung Dryer stopped throwing heat and would not shut off. Anyone who owns a Samsung appliance will know that not a lot of repair companies work on Samsung. My stove is a Samsung as well, and about 4 years ago, just a year after I bought it, the convection stopped working on it. Back then I called Samsung to get it fixed and I was told it would take over a month to get someone out to look at it. I never did get it fixed and I hoped this wouldn't be the same scenario, I couldn't be without a dryer longer than a week.
Since I now had to find somebody to fix the dryer, I decided I would finally get the oven fixed as well. I googled repair companies and after clicking on a few that don't deal with Samsung, I finally came across City Appliance. I called yesterday, explained what was going on with both the dryer and the oven and he told me right away what he thought the problem was with each of them. He told me he would order the parts and let me know when they were in. I was shocked when I got a text around noon today saying the parts were in and he'd be coming by between 2-5. By 2:30 he was here and by 3:00 both the dryer and oven were fixed and working great!
Kind, courteous, and fast service. I am very satisfied and will definitely call again if in need of repair.

Called to get replacement part prices on fridge and stove damages. The guy immediately said they don't do that...I said "you don't replace parts?", he says "well...uh...yes..."
Me: "Okay first one is a Samsung fridge door, do you want the model number?"
Him: "No. $700."
Me: "$700? For either left or right side?"
Him: "Yes"
Me: "Ok, how about the freezer door?"
Him: "$300"
Me: "Okay can I get these amounts in a quote?"
Him: "No, we can't do that without looking at it and it's $140 for me to come do that, so unless you want to pay me..."

Laughable experience. Not sure how these guys get any business when they're completely unwilling to answer even the most basic parts questions.

Edit: Now he is phoning me non-stop at work to harass me over this review. Calling me a frauder for asking them about parts prices??? 11 calls and counting, with voice mails threatening to report me (LOL) unless I remove the negative review immediately. Won't answer my calls when he sees my number.

Real professional.

And for the record, I was absolutely willing to pay for a quote. Was not, however, willing to keep twisting arms to get someone to work on a job they clearly weren't interested in, OR to deal with a lazy, inept employee.

"We don't do part replacements" is how you start the call...?

You won't take 30 seconds to look up a model number, because "every fridge and freezer door costs the same"...? Are you kidding?

And when I ask if it's possible to get these prices, which are clearly in no way accurate, written down so that I am not surprised later on with an actual price that is triple, I get attitude with "no, I won't give you a proper quote unless you're going to pay me $140 to come look at it"?

Two tips:

1) When a potential customer has all of the necessary information ready for you, there is no excuse not to take a few seconds to look up a part and give an estimate based in reality. If you don't like to give quotes without seeing something in person, or if you are too busy at the time of the call; fine, just say so. But don't act lazy and uncaring, as if I'm inconveniencing you by calling your business, and then get surprised when it isn't appreciated.

2) When you get a bad review, deal with it like a grown-up. Don't harass the customer and make nonsense threats to try and scare them into removing the negative review. Take the feedback, look in the mirror, do better next time.

We've had him out twice. One for a blown highlimit fuse and another time because the system was completely plugged.

He diagnosed these problems very quickly. Last time he had it up and running within 10 minutes. And it doesn't hurt that he's a nice guy.

We had issues with our freezer (fridge) staying frozen. I called in the morning and now this afternoon, I have ice cubes forming. Thank you, Sagoo, for your quick and efficient service.

I have an LG fridge and had a hard time finding a repair man. I am so glad I found City as they arrived 2 hours after calling and within 15 minutes my fridge was fixed. The price for the part was a little high but I was so happy to get my fridge fixed after waiting 3 weeks from another repair company.

Sagoo was very professional, friendly, and efficient. He arrived and immediately has the part ready and went to work. He was kind enough to to push the fridge back into place.
