Although a successful DIYer for 25 years I was very apprehensive about renovating my kitchen (100 year old house - not many right angles, plaster and lathe). Jamie's ideas and subsequent beautiful workmanship turned a pretty dismal area into the most pleasant rooms in the house. Thank you Jamie and Acorn. I will be recommending you to all my friends who are looking for a quality contractor.

Great contractor who is reliable, trustworthy, professional, and extremely tidy. Everything is put back to your satisfaction. I would definitely use them again. If you want someone who you can call back time and time again, this company is for you.You won't find anyone who is better than Jamie, he and his crew are respectful and friendly .he stays within the time frame given to you i have used Acorn a few times now and have been more than happy with their work. Give them a try and you will see what i mean. Jamie also built our deck and trap doors, they are not only well built but unique in design which includes lighting.

Jamie and his team did a wonderful job, painting the exterior of my 3-floor brick downtown Toronto house and wood garage. The recent work entailed scrapping, priming and subsequent coats of paint. In addition, Jamie pressured treated the 2nd floor sundeck and treated with water proofing. The garage was pressured treated and stained with a matching colour.

Jamie began the work on the start date and time that was stated. They arrived early and worked into late afternoon each day. The guys are a professional and friendly group that responds well to requests in a respectful manner.

I would not hesitate in recommending Jamie for work and would use him and his crew again for future projects. In fact, a neighbour saw his work and contracted him for a similar job.

I have used Acorn Contractors for a variety of jobs, and I have been consistently impressed with their work.

Recently I had Jamie come by to do some work on the exterior of our 90 year old brick home. The bricks were painted when we bought the house, and we had been told by another contractor that given the age of the bricks, there was no way the paint could be removed. Luckily, Jamie and his team were up for the challenge. Using a combination of chemical products and power washing they were able to remove the paint without damaging the bricks. After exposing the bricks, they also re-tucked all of the mortar. Along with the brick work, Jamie and his team also rebuilt our front porch. We love the final result! Overall, Acorn contractors do great work for reasonable rates. I would highly recommend them.
