We hired Franco to do complete bathroom renovation and were disappointed. He doesn't know how to waterproof the shower walls. Put regular mold resistand drywall around bathtub, plus laminate board on it "to level "mosaic and started to stick tiles to it. No some sort of water resistant membrane, no waterproofing joints, just drywall, laminate board and cement, that was not even water resistant, as it turned out later. Then he dropped the box of new tile, and said that "it was broken already", when every single tile was checked prior. When was asked to take it down and put required materials, he yelled at me, stated that I am assaulting him, threw his tools in the truck and left. Now he is not answering my calls, and I am planning to file application in small claim court.

Very very happy with Franco and his team. I met him through another business and upon talking with him, decided to hire him to do the floor in my rental property. I was in the midst of 3 different renovations at the time and he was always available to answer questions even if they were not for a job he was getting paid for. Got my whole house done and his price was on par with some other quotes I got, IE End of the roll and I felt good getting someone who was dedicated for the same price. He started my project within a week and was done in 1.5 weeks and the work is done perfectly. I would absolutely recommend him and can be reached for comment at 403-831-2021. Geoff

We were very disappointed with Ultimate Construction. We hired them to do an exposed aggregate patio for us. Although they were more expensive than a larger concrete company, I picked them because they had been in the business for over 20 years. I also encouraged friends to get patios done by them as well. They made several errors with our patio; the trawl line was not straight and the concrete was over washed. They even admitted to being rushed as they were doing our house and our neighbours house the same day. For someone in the business this long those kinds of errors are unacceptable. They offered to repair the part of the deck that was the worst but it wouldn't have matched the rest of the patio. They gave us a partial refund and then sealed the patio. The last mistake was they didn't even wash off all the extra gravel that had been washed out before sealing the deck. As such, we had loose pebbles stuck in the sealer making the patio even more uneven. Overall I wouldn't recommend this one man show. It is all talk and no results.
