Quality Hardwood Refinish

Our 1956 bungalow had the original red oak hardwood floors underneath broadloom. I got two quotes, that were about the same price-wise, from companies that were highly recommended on Home Stars. But only one of the two companies came by to actually look at the floors and the carpets on them so I went with Quality Hardwood Refinish. Julio and his team were fantastic: they were extremely conscientious. They were here every day all day and cleaned up scrupulously every night. The entire job took about 6 days but would have taken less time if our carpet pads underneath the broadloom hadn't stuck to the hardwood. It took about 2 days just to scrape that off. The floors are even and beautifully sanded. The stairs and bannisters on the stairs look great. Julio really paid a lot of attention to details. I can only recommend his work. They were super friendly and pleasant to deal with.

Some water damage recently caused bad warping of about 8-9 boards in our engineered hardwood flooring. The team was responsive, came assessed and replaced the boards, and was careful not to damage any nearby boards. Fortunately there was no damage to the subfloor, so it was a minor fix. I also happened to have just enough spare boards on hand, so materials and matching were not a problem.

The team also quickly fixed some wood trim pieces between the tile and hardwood that had come loose
